In my opinion it would be cool to here your thought process on putting a program together. And maybe how you pick certain movements/ layouts of microcycles into mesocycles. Thanks!

Using this. The guy knows what he's talking about and expanding your mind to different type of the same workout (Cossack squats) broad jump another variation of jump squats was cool too. Gave me something to mix up with when I'm doing body weight leg day

You forgot to mention to also inject steroids.
@FitnessCulture

I don't take steroids actually. It's one of the reasons I've had to completely change my training style. I can't recover from the volume I used to do when I was younger so that's why I developed this program. I've had the urge to get on TRT but my natural test has been around 750 when I get blood work done which is pretty good for someone my age. I've been getting accused of steroid use since I was 17 so it doesn't bother me but just figured I'd let you know that I've been at crossroads for the last couple of years, change the way I train or get on TRT. This change up has been great for me.

@@FitnessCulture I see. Well as you know in today's fitness industry most are using. Plus it helps esthetically to make money also. So its an economic double edge sword so to speak. But i do appreciate that feedback. I am trying to get back into running after a 2 yr lay off and 50 lbs weight gain. I injured my Achilles doing up hill sprints while using pre workout and having low glycogen. Its been pretty tough getting my ankle to adjust to the weight gain.

Beyond being motivational videos, these KZbin experts/pros (not this guy or this channel, necessarily) need to be upfront and honest about the infrastructure and support they have in getting to these levels. Yes, that includes mentioning that you have-whether during the time of filming or at some point along their fitness journey, even if its in the distant past-taken PED/‘roids… this shit is rampant in the industry. And no it’s not healthy. And yes, it is a form of dishonesty or untruthfulness.

Hey Phil, not everyone that's strong is on steriods or did steriods. What if someone was just strong? Or had good genetics? Or maybe they were a strength and conditioning coach that practiced what they preached. I don't know man. I guess we can just say everyone does steriods because we're scared of hard work.
@gmpm
@gmpm 2 жыл бұрын
@@johnnya.4914 Genetics and natural strength *can* play a part for sure. I will say, though, having a friend group where most are pretty big into fitness-or at least, they really enjoy weightlifting and do it regularly-all of them have juiced at some point. And they tell us (me) that their other workout buddies have juiced or taken something. It’s not a secret. I play basketball and I enjoy lifting maybe two or three times a week (at a max). I’m not trying to get big, but I do work legs and core for explosiveness. I’m saying though, if a person has a physique that remotely resembles that of a cross-fit athlete or bodybuilder, there is a very high chance they are taking “enhancements” of some sort. End of story. That is not taboo to say. It is rampant. No one I know, who’s a fitness buff, who works a 9-5, has a family, or who attempts to lead any sort of balanced lifestyle, is able to work out 2 hours a day (which is around what it takes at a minimum), every day, rest, eat for an extended period and lead a “normal” life. In other words, to attain this kind of physique without taking something likely means a) you’re either getting paid to do it or are rich, and thus have the infrastructure and privilege to do it, b) you’re making enormous sacrifices and probably aren’t living a balanced lifestyle, which is fine if that’s what you want to do. Not denying that there is hard work involved to get to this point, it’s just that the image that is being projected is almost impossible to get without cutting corners and taking something that is, ultimately, hard on the body and our internal organs. It’s not healthy, and a lot of these KZbin fitness people are disingenuous and dishonest, and it’s not a good message.

Plyometrics are body weight based ......jumping ....one legged 2 legged ....including bounding ..over 20 / 30 meters ...including hurdle jumps ....... bounding up hills .....plyometrics has absolutely nothing to do with lifting weights .......
