Fantastic! I've had hip pain for the last 5+ years and after doing this 'over-stretch' exercise explained here it was gone in two days. Seriously thrilled, Fast, easy and free, no surgery no consultations. I simply walked down my hallway holding the wall incase I fell over as it's a bit unbalancing, just four steps of this once a day and after two days I had forgotten I ever had it. If I feel it slightly returning I simply do for more steps. THANK YOU so much.

I’m going to try this. My left hip hurts so bad especially if I walk on an uneven surface like gravel. Thanks for the info.

So on my right side i have this pain but also notice and indentation in the butt muscle on that side too. I have lots of spine issues make it hard for me to excersize like i want do alot of walking about all i can do. But why does it seem im loosing muscle mass in that cheek?o have siatic pain too mostly on that siden i did that excersize you just did i felt sore and tender in my lowercleft side of back when putting weight on the right leg while lifting up the foot of lft leg

If you've lost muscle mass in the butt cheek with a history of sciatica, I'd be concerned about a pinched nerve root that supplies the gluteus maximus, particularly the L5 and S1 nerve roots. I'd suggest seeing your doctor to get it checked out. Here's a video that gives you more information about those nerves, timestamped to the gluteus maximus innervation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqfSlHVvhdmfhbc But definitely see your doctor in person.

There are a few issues that can cause that. You'd need to see a healthcare provider to find out which one it is in your case, but here are a few videos that may give you some ideas: Hip Arthritis: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hou3gYN4i7yKZtk Hip Labral Tear: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYK6oXqhmNF-qZI Snapping Hip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4qZiHepZc1jes0

Great information. Four years after lateral hip replacement, I still have pain when walking. I will practice this method instead of heel toe as instructed. Thanks.

I’m going to try this! I think I have been engaging the outside of my thigh instead of glutes in my exercises! I love the level of detail you provide about what is going on! Thanks!

Thanks for this video. I have greater tronchanteric pain syndrome as well as meralgia parasethetica. Overall doesn't hurt much when I walk, but it's bad to sit and terrible at night when I try to sleep. All of the exercises that PT specialists have given me past 2 years (clamshells, bridge, etc) make the IT band paying much worse. I started trying your exercises. Unfortunately both of my legs are affected. Any tips on what to do when I have greater trochanteric pain syndrome on both thighs/hips?

Whenever it's both sides, I'd say to make sure to rule out a lower back problem. It could bilateral hip pain, but it could also be referred from the lower back, particularly with a history of meralgia paresthetica as well. On that note, if sitting and sleeping are worse than walking, here are videos for: Meralgia Paresthetica: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHjYZWiClrmYmqM Hip Pain When Sitting: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qICvnoR9lLCZpM0 Hip Pain Lying On Side: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jISmlJdor6qpmrs Good luck!

@@More4Life Thank you for the prompt reply. Yes I will definitely check those videos out. Thank you very much for all the resources. My back was checked a few years ago and Even the EMG only showed the bilateral meralgia parasitica, no other higher back nerve issue. My guess is it's hypermobility complicated by What I'm now learning is bad posture, hanging off one hip, locking knees when standing, sitting on the floor with both legs curled under me on one side (half W). Again, I sincerely appreciate all the resources!
