SUGGESTION-❤It would be amazing to have 5-10 minutes of calm music to meditate to at the end before the commercial busts in. You leave us in such a peaceful place. It would be nice to stay there! Thank you for your yoga! You’re approach makes it easy to keep going and create a habit. I think this is Year 4 or 5 for me. 😊🎉

Hi all! Day-8 woohoooo! I have a confession to make. I was a little lazy today morning and thought of skipping today's yoga practice and also my morning meditation. I wanted to have a Rest day since I've only last few days of my annual leave left. But then during the day I realized HOW MUCH I love Yoga, Meditation and ofc, Adriene! I missed all of it and decided to schedule all of this in my evening routine. I'm happy to be here and proud of myself for showing up on the mat. Thank you Universe. I hope the others had a great session too! PS. - What a coincidence that today my mindset was to have a rest day and the Yoga theme for today is 'Relax', ah! I am so blessed and lucky

Dear Adriene, thank you for this a million times❤️ the last two weeks have been hell for me and my family - my dear beloved Mom has been battling cancer for 2,5 years. During the holidays she was hospitalised and yesterday she left us here forever. she is now with the angels, just like she was an angel on earth🤍 she was only 49. our pain is indescribable and during the last 2 weeks yoga was the only thing that brought me a little peace of mind. today I did this practice with my sister, who has never done yoga before but I knew this would help us. we held each others's hand during practice and all I could think of is that I hope Mom is very proud of the daughters she raised and of the love that's between us.🤍 thank you, Adriene for helping us through the worst days of our lives - I'm forever grateful.💗💗💗💗

It blows me away sometimes how aligned things become when I start taking the time and space for myself. Adriene, you never disappoint. I woke up feeling beat up today. Truly. It was hard for me to to focus and get good work done, so I ended up taking half the work day from bed (I work remotely). I came on KZbin to participate in Day 8 and immediately my heart was full seeing the thumbnail and title for today’s practice. My dog Nyx and I went on a walk just before this practice. Once we got back, he stayed with me on the mat the entire time. Usually, I get a little flustered because I can’t do all the moves with him laying there, but this time, I just did the moves around him. Boy oh boy, by the end when I was in the burrito, he was at the top of my mat as my pillow and I burst into tears. It was such a tender moment that I’ll never forget. I needed to relax. Thank you universe and Adriene for bringing us this moment.

I've really been struggling with my mental health this month. I haven't practiced in two days but didn't want to let another day pass. I checked what day 8 had in store and knowing it was a floor practice lined up perfectly with the day I've had. I've struggled to stay out of my bed aside from a little walk, and allowed myself to take the pressure off fitting in the practice by saving it for bed time. I didn't force myself to the mat, I just did it in bed because that's all I could today. It's 12:34am and I've just finished, I'm grateful for the suggestion of tenderness. I feel so tender at the moment, and I'm happy to be in touch with those feelings, no matter how sensitive they are. Thanks Adriene.

Day 8 OBLITERATE!! ... any tension or resistance I had going into this practice. 8 is definitely my favorite in these series. It's easy to get caught up in energy and activity but not always easy to carve out time for intentional rest and recovery. Everyone needs to turn into jelly every once in a while.

Adriene, I wanted to personally say thank you. Thank you for all that you do with this channel, and thank you for always being there for me on this journey known as life. In the past, I dabbled with yoga but never had a consistent practice. Two years ago, today, in the midst of severe postpartum depression, I decided to start yoga again, determined to make it stick and see if it would help alleviate the noise in my mind. As I wrapped up today's practice, I beamed with pride at how far I've come. Yes, life is still messy, and I've missed days (or weeks), but I still show up the best I can, knowing that yoga is always there for me. The growth I've seen in myself over these last two years has been amazing. You've been there with me through losses that left me crying on my mat in the middle of a flow, to moments of pure joy at the things I've been able to achieve through this practice, and everything in between. I hope you know how much of an impact you have on all of us, and I will always be in awe of what you've created. Thank you, truly, for all that you do 💜

I was stressed about it and about going to the doctor and got the notification saying relax and thought to myself, sorry Adriene im not sure ill manage that today yet here i am in the evening with new medication, new hope and an intact daily streak. This is my first time doing anything like this. Im sure im doing things wrong but im really enjoying it. Thank you Adriene and to all joining in and especially my amazing friend who introduced me to this. If youre reading this you know who you are and you are wonderful ❤

I’ve been doing yoga with you and your vids intermittently since 2018. This is the first time I am following one of your programs. I do the sessions every 3 days as I mix them with weight training and dance videos. I’m really enjoying it! Somehow, I feel more of a sense of accomplishment than when I just did yoga sessions randomly. Thanks for doing this, Adrienne.

Alarm went off for the premiere. It’s chilly in London this morning so I turned it off and turned over to go back to sleep and the monkey mind decided to come play and got up! Forgotten about day 8 being a relax day, so this was perfect - this burrito is finding it hard to move on right now 😂😂 thanks as ever for giving me just what I needed ❤❤

Found yoga with Adriene doing the anxiety practice a few weeks ago and I love this channel. Flow is making me feel stronger and centered and helping me to focus and pay attention to myself 💖 as it happens rest was exactly what I needed today due to some home stress and stress his was perfect!

I just started my period which, combined with the lasting residue of muscle soreness from abs day (lol), has my stomach feeling like a war zone. so this practice came at the perfect time for me!!❤ Definitely needed to stretch and burrito-up my body in a blanket haha wishing everyone the best day & see you tomorrow💖✨

Delicious....While the wind rages and rain pours here in the Carolinas, luckily happened to have handy the electric throw blanket my favorite daughter (only) gave me years ago, so I used for this whole session plus extra time in burrito. Yummy. Thank you 💕

I felt resistance most of the way through this and kept asking myself to relax. I have to accept that resistance is part of the journey and accept. That said I felt amazing on the train an hour later. Ha ha.

Yes to the tokito/burrito, it was a hot summers day here in Australia but I couldnt resist the urge to wrap up snug as a bug in a rug. I am on a journey of slowing down my life and just reelaxing a bit more so thank you Adriene this practice was perfect

Adriene you sweet sweet soul. You have no idea how much I needed this today. I felt and still kind of feel like a failure because I quit a job yesterday. And when I came on to the mat it was basically with an attitude of "you are also not gonna fail this!" But whatever my reason was thank God I showed up because by the end for the first time I felt what you mean when you say "feel the support of the earth" in shavasana. It really felt like i was supported not only physically but beyond. So thank you so much for today. I am incredibly grateful. P.s Benji coming in with a blanket was a treat to watch. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Day 8 is now my favorite haha! Woke up really slow and this helped me allow a little rest before tackling my day. Still feeling sore all over so it was very welcome. Onto a great week 2 everyone!

Day 8 - a day late but completed. Great time for a relaxation practice after a loooong day at work. Will try to do day 9 & 10 tomorrow. My abs are no longer sore. Yay!
