Great channel. Very good content! Nice overview shot so 'we' can see what's needed and what steps to take.

What is the brand of those long scissors? They work great - good job and very good instruction

They are professional hair cutting scissors that were recommended by a long time tarpon fly fisherman, they are called Fairy Muster, professional cut 15499, not sure if they’re still for sale today but i’m sure there are some that are similar

Thanks for sharing. Is the material ratio- 1 x 1 , 1 x 1/2, 3 x 1/3 lengths per colour? Thanks very much 🙏🇦🇺

Correct, and for the last 3, you can use either 1/3 pieces or 1/4 pieces both will work, although bigger flies 5" or bigger, youll want to use 1/3 longer pieces.

Do you ever weight these flies?
@balazflyco81542 жыл бұрын
Usually no, they're best unweighted but theres always the option of using dumbell eyes to add weight.
