Hey Adam! Now that you have the DJI expansion adaptor... you may wish to try this: Set your microphone gain to 12 and then slide the mic onto the adaptor cold shoe. To me, the sound is really good with this set up when vlogging the Pocket 3 at bent arm distance. Also, the mic can be made to face forward or backward and can be switched quickly. I prefer this set up as it removes the distracting microphone from the shot without sacrificing sound quality or wireless mic convenience. Keep up the good work on your channel! Cheers from Toronto.

Hong Kong is (was) a wonderful place. I met my wife there believe it or not. She is an American citizen now. We want back there a couple of times to see friends but, it's not the same since China took over. OSMO pocket is a nice little camera and great for travel.

Love seeing you traveling around! That DJI chest mount looked legit! Definitely have to have no shame in the game to pull that off in a crowded area 😂 I havent traveled too extensively but I'd have to say Nepal has been my favorite place that I've traveled to. I'd definitely like to explore asia more for sure though!

When using the Pocket 3 in mainland China, I shoot at 4K30fps and sometimes get flickering when the anti-flicker setting is set to auto. When the anti-flicker was set to 50Hz, the flickering disappeared, even though it was still using 4K30fps. I see that you are using 50fps in Hong Kong, so you could try using 60fps and 50Hz anti-flicker.

Oh wow, that's really interesting. I assumed it needed to be 25fps or 50 fps to avoid the anti-flicker along with any anti-flicker option. Thanks for the tip for sure!

Hey Tim, I have you to thank for convincing me to bring it! I took over 300 photos which is a lot for me! I was telling my wife how I'm very thankful you convinced me to bring it because I didn't even think about the fact that getting really good photography it was going to help a lot not to mention just getting nice talking heads with zv e10 like you mentioned! Yeah I have to film in 4K 50 or 25 to avoid the anti-flicker 50hz lights!

@TravelingAhn Definitely glad that worked out. I didn't even think about photos. I'd love to see a few of those. I haven't done any photography with it, but the look you can get with the good glass you have is something I'm glad you're not going to miss out on. I knew about NTSC vs. PAL but didn't know you could go any higher with it in 4K than 25 or 30 FPS. Anyways, looking forward to your next one. I'm taking a little break and playing catch up after the holidays but plan on definitely filming something next weekend. Until then I'm living vicariously through yours, Evans, Garrett's, and Noi's. Maybe a few others if they post one.

It was in Hong Kong! I had to cross the river from the main island. Hong Kong is really a cool place to visit for sure! Definitely need at least a week.

Yes Adam! I think that your Santa Claus was in Hong kong! Very good accessories that you got there :) My best travel out of France is England (westminster, Canterbury) because i love cathedrals, protestant, orthodoxe or catholic, I don't care! :) And also loved the rainy scotland (Edimburg) because it so typical, like if you are in an XIXth gothic movie or in a video game :) I didn't travel so much, i went to some islands (Canaries, Balearics) but I was just to find some sun in Europe, nothing to visit... I also went only one week to Canada (Quebec) for the business it was cool but too short. My best destination is my own country, France, in provincial countries, as you saw on my vlog , France is a very diverse country in a relatively small area (1000km x 1000km) :) I cannot wait to see your travel in Thailand and Vietnam! That's my dream! ENJOY MAN, WE GOT ONLY ONE LIFE! :) Michael

Yeah, that's the huge advantage the Pocket 3 has with its built in Gimbal for sure! If I had my Ronin Gimbal for the ZV-E10, it would have been more fair.

Hi adam. I see a lot of people using -2 sharpness. Does it makes a big difference? Can you do a segment on one of your next videos comparing the image from normal sharpness and -2 and point out they difference? I cant really tell a big difference, but maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing. Maybe also showed the difference between normal noise reduction and -1/-2. I film cars a lot and I'm trying to figure out they best settings for the cleanest, crispest image I can get. Figured it would be easier to ask instead of constantly switching settings and probably still not getting it right.

Hello, I set to -2 sharpness because you can always sharpen the picture in post, but can't really unsharpen. The sharper it looks it might start looking like it came from a smartphone. Regarding noise reduction, I honestly am just following the herd on this one. But you do bring up a good point on wondering what the differences are.
