Just don’t connect to wifi and your downloaded content will play without an issue. Most on-board wifi doesn’t support streaming anyway. If you really need Internet for other things, then yes you may need a VPN

Flew from Honolulu to Manila and back, and then Honolulu to Tulsa and back. Both trips I enjoyed watching movies immensely!I had a 30,000 MAh battery pack so I had power enough for the each leg of the trip. Plus, you can get on the internal WiFi of the plane and watch their entertainment system on the AVP!

Yeah depending on the flight you sure can. Wifi is still pretty janky on planes, it's always so hit or miss... I have no clue why. But when it works it's awesome!

@@BrandonTalbot that would be much appreciated as I’m traveling in late July…interestingly, when I used the same VPN as the OP, none of my videos were playable…I had to turn the VPN completely OFF to regain access…fyi i was not using the PAID version of the App but that should not have affected things given I am in the US and had the VPN set for the US as well…

Quick FYI - you have had to have had a faulty unit or they’re were build quality issues on some units… I use mine primarily at night and one of my most enjoyable past times is walking outside 2 AM on my property and painting a giant hundred foot concert on the sky… no virtual environment, just pass through … helps in clearing my mind after a long day, good luck. FYI - Purchased Feb 2024 - 512GB - Menlo Park, NJ Store (25min outside NYC)

I know Apple has not thrown full energy of its heart and mind while marketing it. That’s why most people are thinking whether they should buy or wait for newer versions to come. I know if we look vision pro as replacements of devices it is doing, it is far more worthy than its price apart from great experience that we get while using it. I will say that you should have at least its experience at apple store then decide whether you need to buy it or not. I am saving money for it when it comes to my country.
