10:00 The reason your crust turned into a loaf is you didn't give the dough enough time to ferment, the yeast was still producing carbon dioxide. Normally you want to rest the dough until it expands 2x its size then beat it back into submission, the gluten should make it able to stretch a piece into a window pane without it tearing. IT will expand less and be easier to stretch and roll out.

A friend of mine used to work at Starbucks, and something she would do would be to make up custom frappuccinos based on characters or celebrities we liked. I always loved it, not just because the results were usually tasty, but also because it was just a lot of fun hearing her reasoning for why she included which flavors. This reminds me a lot of that, and I'd definitely love to see more! As a suggestion, maybe... a recipe representing each of the Theory channels?

14:43 I honestly think for Ballora, the obvious answer would be a pavlova (especially as a meringue dessert, it was named after a Ballerina, but of course it is not a French dish as it is debated that it was invented in either Australia or in New Zealand… but another alternative could be a Kouign-Amana as the dessert resembles a tutu whereas a madelaine is more of a shell.

You talked about starting new stuff in these channels once the others take over. This right here is a perfect idea for food theory. Presenting Santi with a character from some IP or other and having him make an appropriate dish. You could do this several times a year, and at the end of every year, release a cookbook with all of the dishes created that year.

Lol don't kid yourself. The Theorist channels will be dead husks in ≈1-2 years from now. We've seen this movie a thousand times before. KZbinr sells out to media company, steps away, and then the channel slowly rots as the original personality that formed its foundation is no longer there.

I love the fact that purple guys dish has an egg in, it probably wasn’t intentional, but eggs are great for memory and recall (great exam food), which can represent either purple guy being smart in terms of machinery and robotics, or the fact that he always comes back, like a memory

Beet juice would have been way better than dragon fruit since its colour is much more vibrant and condensed. Unless you're using some kind of dragonfruit juice concentrate, it's not going to have enough colour to colour something else by much. Not only that but beets could then easily be worked deliciously into the filling as well

I think beet would be too red-pink, and not a more obvious purple color like dragon fruit. But beet would have a stronger color, and taste a bit better. Dragon fruit is pretty bland.

I feel like to pay respect to our Grandpa MatPat that Santi should do recipes based off of the early days of GT and FT, with stuff from Link, Chrono Trigger, Mario, and so many more. They could possibly make it a mini series where Santi goes over and cover topics from the past of these iconic moments and makes them into a food dish and ultimately calls it the Theorist Cookbook filled with lore and more for our beloved Theorist.

I would argue that cookbooks based on media should be recipes trying to replicate FOOD WITHIN THE UNIVERSE... but the next best thing is 100% just making the characters into food, and MatPat and Santi did a friggin' great job. Also Santi's food needs more spotlight, his recipe attempts looked sooooo good!
