The part that bothers me about her hypothetical is how she mixes in completely innocent and normal social interactions with actual harmful ones like harassment or someone feeling entitled to touch you. Speaking from experience, yes people would absolutely do that. Idk if it's just because I'm autistic, but my entire childhood and teenage years were full of people hugging me unexpectedly, specifically because they knew I hated it and they found my traumatised freeze response funny. They forced me into photos knowing I hated them too and if I ever insisted on not being touched or involved in something I didn't consent to I'd be told by EVERYONE involved that I was "ruining the mood" and sometimes I would even be sent to bed early by my parents for asserting boundaries. It happened as recently as Christmas eve of 2022 when I was literally 25 years old and didn't want to do a fashion show for my mum to show her the pyjamas she got me. As an adult!?

I used to get canker sores constantly and I kept looking into it and I found out that a lot of people don't rinse their mouths out enough when they brush their teeth, and if those people are using toothpaste with sulfates in them that can cause canker sores from the irritation. I don't know if that's true for everybody but I switched probably 10 years ago now, and I've only had one canker sore since then. That being said if you haven't tried the pain relief Orajel it's pretty good

I worked in a dermatology office for a few years, and the hoops you have to jump through to be prescribed Accutane are crazy, especially if you're capable of becoming pregnant. i get canker sores really bad because my canines are especially sharp (+teeth crowding pushed them forward) and the best way to get rid of them super fast is the tried and true warm water + salt mouth swish. makes them go away in days compared to weeks without it.
