Outside of the standard three big meals of the day - Breakfast, lunch, dinner - you should have something about half way between those meals. It's 5-6 meals per day, but not overly big meals. Should be eating something once every 2-3 hours. More active, the more often you should be getting something to eat.
@ghostflame9211 Жыл бұрын
would be down to see something like that. there are already a bunch OMAD (one meal a day) videos out there that have evidence of the diet being better for you than the 3 meals tradition. but idk, eating all 2000 calories in one sitting seems way too extreme for someone who isn't incredibly active. i bet food theory could find some kind of middle ground. granted, there is no such thing as one size fits all for nutrition and meals, but there is usually a one size fits most.

As someone who is Gen Z myself, I like the new Pepsi logo. Has a 1960’s esque look to it though some people will say it looks like something from the 80’s and 90’s which holds true as well. I think the reason why people in my generation is nostalgic and have a obsession with things from the past is things from the 90’s and on are plain and drab to things from the 80’s and up, most notably cars for example. Not only things from years ago have a unique styling and aesthetics to them, but are built with better quality as well. For example, I bought a GE Vortalex fan from the 1950’s last September (I am aware it’s not safe around small children since you can easily stick your fingers in it), wow, moves a insane amount of air and every fan I’ve owned has never moved the amount of air this one does. If I had a few more, could easily live without air conditioning since it moves that much air around.

Growing up in the 80's a lot of places still had the Pepsi logo with the name in the middle. Just because it wasn't on the actual can, doesn't mean we didn't see the 1971 version on soda machines, in restaurants, and gas stations. So it's not just nostalgic for being super old, because it was still around for years.
@paullangland6877 Жыл бұрын
I was a kid in the 1990's and a teenager in the 2000's. Now I lived in the rural parts of the USA such as Northwest Wisconsin and North Dakota, very close to the Canadian border, and I saw restaurants still have their 1980's Pepsi sign still being used as their main sign for their restaurant. For example, it would like a standard mom and pop pizza shop that tried to mimic Pizza Hut or Dominos, and the place would be a generic name like the last name of the owner's, and the sign to show you where that was in town, was simply an 1980's lit up Pepsi sign and below the 80's Pepsi logo was the name of the place in bold font just hanging above the main entrance. Of course you would go inside the menus also had the old Pepsi logo on it and even on the soda fountains too. This was the same for other brands like Coca-Cola or 7-Up as well.

The new design is pretty interesting. I find the theory interesting that Pepsi's sticking to their trend of being for the new generation via making it stand out among a sea of brands, as well as invoking a nostalgic feeling. Also, I have a random question; is there really a difference, either in flavor and nutrition, depending on what kind of cooking oil you use? Like, instead of using Olive Oil for everything, from the go to for frying foods or putting on my salad, which is pretty random; who thought of putting oil on salad, should I be using Avocado Oil, or Canola Oil? I've been trying to look up results and asking people who may know this stuff better than me, but the only concrete answer I've gotten is "Vegetable Oil is not made of vegetables," or something like that. So as cheap as it sounds to ask in a youtube comment section, I was wondering if you could do a theory on that...?

Agreed, I think this logo is a lot better than their previous one. To be frank I could never unsee it being a person's belly with their gut sticking out under their red shirt when someone pointed that out.

I'm mind blown that people gave two sh!ts about Pepsi's logo, and let alone went online to spread hate. When I saw that logo, I probably just went "ah they changed it again, ok" and then forgot about it.

9:21 love that subtle newjeans reference. NewJeans is a group that actually ties in really well to the ‘gen-z likes retro’ part of the vid. NewJeans debuted with a Y2K style and was instantly praised for having a unique style or being the group to bring Y2K back. NewJeans is the group to bring that simple retro teen-age back in an industry absolutely saturated with bright lights and loud bass (things that are highly associated with 4th gen kpop and thus gen-z) I find that part quite interesting too, as someone who has an interest in graphic design it’s very interesting to see how much effort and small detail go in to smth that appears so simple and how weather you like it or not, it does have an affect on you.

there's a LOT of praise for the new logo in the comments, so i'm giving a new perspective. as someone who's gen z, i think they really fumbled with this because of one thing; they chose to bring back the logo from the 1970s. i personally have no nostalgic feelings towards stuff from that era as someone who was born in 2006, over 30 years later. i feel that this logo would play into the nostalgic feelings from people born in gen X or old millennials way more than it does for gen Z. i would've loved to see the early 2000s logo, or even the 90s logo come back, as those feel way more nostalgic. y2k aesthetics are really big with my generation right now and i genuinely can't believe they didn't take advantage of that. most highschoolers will probably not recognize that logo as an old one and feel nostalgic, as i definitely didn't.

Fun fact, my dad (most avid Pepsi hater on the planet) encountered someone doing the Pepsi challenge in a mall. I think they were offering movie tickets or something. He took a sip of each drink, challenger asked “So which do you like better?” Dad pointed and said, “That’s Pepsi.” Challenger: “But which do you like better?” Back and forth a little bit before Dad admitted he likes Coke more. Didn’t get the tickets.

@AzureWolf I tend to go for diet sodas so the sugar part is true, and let's just say I proved to my self that sugar does cause weight gain, drank a whole semester of coke and gained 10kg, realized it, drank a whole semester of diet coke, didn't gain anything significant so now I try to go for diet if possible (but sadly root beer and dr pepper doesn't have diet versions widely available so I still drink sugar ones once in a while)

I have to say, he knocked the nail on the head with that reasoning for why Gen Z loves old things. I was born in the early 2000s, so I’m Gen Z, but the only real “tangible” things that I can remember from my childhood are very few, especially as social media would become main stream a few years after I was born. I’ve always had an appreciation for music from the 70s-80s like the Beatles, Talking Heads, Blondie, you name it, because they always felt so passionate and so timeless, unlike a lot of music that’s produced nowadays that’s souly just to become viral on tiktok. That can be said for a lot of content that we consume nowadays, so yes, as a member of Gen Z who’s a huge 80s nostalgia tripper, you aced it on that reasoning, MatPat!

Part of this too is Minimalization, most other brands are switching to a minimalistic design and colors are bolder and more eye catching. They look cleaner and it's also easier to design and cheaper to print. Look at the icons on your desktop, whether it's PC or Mac you might have noticed the icons have gotten flatter, and more cell shaded because it looks cleaner, more appealing to the eye.
