If the frame is still nice like you said they sell all the parts to fix it. With the price of broncos now it may be worth putting it back together

Try using gas and 2 cycle oil mix to lube the top end instead of starting fluid. Definitely worth a resto if the frame is solid

Even if you don’t get to doing a full restoration, I’d love to see this thing out on the road. If it managed to get running after years in the forest, it deserves to drive again.

There are not many left in Australia and would be a good fix up if its worth it. If there are a few around then id look for better and part it.

Yeah this is a tough one! Maybe parts could go to the red bronco, frame gets sold?

Good find! Looks like an early 67 build due to all the 66 parts it still has on it.

It always interested me how you happen upon interesting / cool finds such as the broncos and the CJ5 . Didn’t know if someone told you of them , or if you searched but you definitely have an interest in making them your own and getting them running . That is cool in itself . Well , what to do about and with this find ? Part of me thinks there may be the chance to find a better body , if this one will be way too involved to repair or whether your into such projects . Since the chassis is in good shape , it deserves either body restoration , if possible , or if a better body tub sourced be installed . The body tub appears to be possibly repairable , of course with a lot of work , but we haven’t seen it as thorough as you have . If much of the body panels and floors are very weak , we will take your word for it , the tub is in need of much love or replacement . Not knowing if you need parts from it for your other bronco , wondering if it’s best to put it up,for sale to anyone who might be interested in a restoration . I’ve a feeling you wouldn’t want to let it go since it has a level of charisma and wants love . The fact that the engine sounds good begs the decision whether your interested in dropping the transmission / transfer case to install a clutch . If at least the clutch and brakes work , it becomes motivating afterwards . If the decision is made to sell , at least it runs , new clutch and working brakes ( if not too much money ) will be a more positive sale . Of course we would love to see some kind of restoration of some level but since your the guy to make it happen , we will have to respect your decision . Hey , can’t hurt to search for a body tub if the condition of it is good. And the price is fair . Wishing you luck on this project , always looking forward to finds such as this on your channel .

Wow! First off thank you so much for the kind words. I’ve been noticing you always posting positive comments on my videos and sincerely thank YOU for that. I definitely love your ideas, we came across a tub local to us, trying to get in touch with him but he’s a older gentleman who doesn’t have a “smart” phone yet. Looking forward to hearing from you in the future friend!

@@NotNormalNick Your very welcome . I will say that you always get things done on your projects . Hoping it is within your means to see this project through . I fully recognize that it is absolutely a LOT of work , having tore down my ‘73 Jeep CJ5 to a rolling chassis , awaiting some repair and it’s body awaiting complete repair . It’s expensive and labor intensive but glad to hear you’ve sourced a body tub 👍. Really hoping for you that you can get your hands on the replacement body tub . Once a body is within your possession , we know you can replace a clutch assembly . Would be much easier with the tub off to,replace the clutch , replace fuel and brake lines and anything you would like . Once that’s done , the tub can go on and electrical work can be done . I’ve a feeling this project can go rather quick , respecting what time you have , aside from your daily life . At your own pace , I believe you can do this . Like any project you’ve done thus far , it’s passion . Would never rush you , at your own pace you will do fine . Every completed step is a positive step toward completion and adds to further determination to forge on . The fact that the chassis is in nice shape is an absolute plus . It just speeds up getting the truck closer to a driver . Anything that helps it come together as a bolt together is a plus . It’s when welding body panels and cutting sections of chassis , for instance , is what consumes your time and thought . You’ve conquered in the past , I think this is well within your scope , no doubt . In a word , YOU GOT THIS ! ✌🏻

I’d get a tub from Denise Carpenter and restore it, with the money you’d put into at a body shop you’d be money ahead with getting a tub from carpenter and going that way.

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!! (BABBVO LAWS
