Forscan - How To Control Output Control Actuators and Sensors

In this video I shall be demonstrating how to activate components using the

On European vehicles this function is sadly lacking on all diagnostic platforms including Ford IDS, so any little help in diagnosing a fault is a help.
This is by no means a definitive guide and each vehicle differs in functionality.
The vehicle tested only had BCM functions.

This control feature is great if youre doing drags or pulls. You cant control the shutters and fan speed to keep it cool

FORScan > Settings > Connections > (No J2534 Adapter Window) - Just downloaded the latest FORScan available to use with my OBDLink EX on my 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat. While following the video and trying to configure my set up in the Settings tab under connections, I found that my display screen does not include the J2534 Adapter option or drop-down window. Is it possible that there's a problem with the version I downloaded?

I have heard you can turn off the down stream o2 sensors on ford's with forscan. Let me know if you figure that one out.

Anyone use FORScan to test door locks 2014 f150 ? Drivers front door lock dead , other 3 work as they should. Could someone turned off that door lock in the BCM ? Replaced activator but still doesn't with fob or buttons! Have to use the key to unlock.

Unfortunately it seems the level of control is different from model to model. Its kit something ford seem to deem necessary? Crazy in my opinion

Nice one did not know this function was in forscan' Can the gauges be set to align with live data readings my 2014 connect shows engine temp higher on dash than live data by 15Degs .......... tia

its a case of looking as each vehicle differs. The gauges are "soft" gauges and designed that way.....years ago a gauge would fluctuate when stood in traffic and then when driving away, nowadays they dont.....personally i'd leave the gauge alone
