social media has brought out the worst in so many people - it's sad - i feel privileged to have grown up in an era or at least gotten to age 18 (now in my 30s) before the IPHONE/GALAXY was released - before everyone became so distanced physically from one another - we talk in mental health that we're the first generation to "disband our tribes" and what they mean by that is that we're as disconnected from one another than ever - human beings are social animals - the social connection cannot be replaced by a connection through social media, period. I still enjoy social media personally, but you need to maintain real relationships in your life that don't involve social media to be mentally healthy

I'm from North Carolina and we have a local breakfast meat here called livermush.. its basically alot of leftover pig parts boiled with seasonings and cornmeal, formed into small loaves. You can slice it right off the block and eat it or fry it up in the pan.. livermush, egg and cheese biscuit is the best

Here is how to solve the athletes rep problem: Instead of having an athletes rep, I would recommend forming an athletes counsel. You mentioned about having volunteers throw their name out there to vote on as the rep, instead they could all form a volunteer athletes counsel. This way they could delegate certain volunteers to certain divisions. Depending on the number of counsel members, they each could get assigned 1-3 divisions for example thus eliminating the burden on one individual. I do agree it should be formed from retired athletes who have an understanding of the sport and know what they would be looking for in a rep.

I check in with my coach once a week during off-season. I send pics not cause I’m mentally weak but number 1 it holds me accountable, number 2 he makes sure even with the plan I follow to a tee I don’t get to fluffy, and finally I pay my coach for weekly checkins that he actually requires. Now in off-season I understand the plan sometimes doesn’t change for weeks but then I’m assured we are on right path with his plan. Honestly I really just pray I could be as big a bad ass as Guy is in Bodybuilding and everything else in life that is discussed on the podcast. LMAO 🤣

A true athletes rep must be paid for by the Pros (bodybuilders), so that the Athletes rep will solely have the pros’ interest in mind when doing any type of negotiations or work! It would also take a whole team to do this type of work for the thousands and thousands of IFBB pros there are in the federation! 1 person would not be able to do the work that it would require for it to be a success!

The thing about paying an athletes rep is that it really shouldn’t be the ifbb paying them. You want someone who represents the guys, not the organisation. I think it’s got to be an elected position by the pros themselves, one in each class, but are the pros gonna put forward say a few hundred out of their own pocket for representation?
