Schopauhaur said that if you have gifted mental faculties, working at a useful job would be like putting a real nice flower on a drink case for decoration, which is very wasteful. Even if you dont have to work at a 9-5, you'll still not be able to do what i do. Sorry brah.

Isn't everything in life absurd or pointless? Even practicing art or philosophy? Philosophy is meaningless, a game of intellects cleverly rearranging their bias' into complicated arguments. Someone isolating themselves with gifted mental facilities is like isolating a real nice flower in a box for no one to realize the aesthetics of the flower. Gifted minds, like flowers, should be able flourish outside with other living beings. But I guess you're video taping the flower from inside the box.

My goal is not self improvements per se, but the spread of my memes. I'm trying to grow a bigger mind BBC so I can penetrate more minds.Sure if the opportunity arises I'll do something on a larger scale, but it's not gonna be a build up from the net,but rather something that exists along side it.We live in the information age and soon enough the internet will be all there is. If I keep going at this rate, I'm pretty sure I'll leave more mark in the (virtual) world than most people upon my death

I sent you a private message. Oh and the comment I made about being psychotic was just a metaphor to tap into the unconscious. If you fall completely within the subconscious, you have a full blown psychosis. But if you flirt around the line, that's usually when you are the most creative. Adorno wrote about Schubert, how he was able to create his best works when he was experiencing NEAR-psychotic breaks, what he called the "Twilight of the mind".
@frankyang
@frankyang 11 жыл бұрын
yeah, basically you create reality with your mind and consciousness. The hardness of matter, different shades of colors, even music are "inventions" of the mind because these properties are intrinsic. No matter really knows what reality looks like apart from the perception of them that forms in the brain. Philosophers have been talking about this for a long time, starting with Kant's copernican revolution.

My entire life has been about expressing and keeping the Nietzsche's Dionysian/Schopenhauerian Will alive and authentic.KZbin is just another means that I use to channel this raw energy that most people like you suppress to a great degree...(fitness being another). I took the time to reply to such a retarded comment because I am genuinely trying to help you out. The other channels are there to psych you up physically, I'm here to crack open your skull. And boy do you need some mind-spanking.
@frankyang
@frankyang 11 жыл бұрын
Because I am not speaking to them. I am making a short gesture on the internet which I think can benefit them or others who are reading them in them. I've changed many minds this way and if anything, this is what this channel is about. (but not to always agree with me) In other words, the retarded comments are the most important ones to respond to.

Thanks man but there's not much hate going on brah. I think most people are starting to appreciate and understand what I'm trying to do. Which makes me very manic, in turn I will make more manic videos !
@frankyang

I agree. The right side of the brain is way overlooked. I think this is what this channel is about. Getting people to get in touch with the missing part...the more "natural" part.

You can use the music, but you just can't monetize the video. I haven't received a single strike for copyright issues yet, but have received many for the BBCs...

yeah but the Will is basically the same for both of them, a naturalistic, primitive creative force of life that can be channeled into the arts.

I did manage to set my front squat PR while working a 10-hour hard-labour nightshift in a factory and sleeping only 3-4 hours per day, but I didn't have any time for intellectual and creative things (or depression) and had to force-feed myself lots of constipating foods so that I could stay full and not have to use the filthy toilets at the work facilities!

You're a fucking inspiring character. Recently I'm trying to get recovered from my both knees and left ankle injury. During these almost 18 months, sometimes I got very frustrated when I can't run or jump as I used to. Not even to mention improving my vertical. But as I'm trying to get recovered, I saw the lights, the hope to get back and get stronger and more athletic, you're definitely a motivation to me. Thanks, Frank Yang. though you might not notice my comment.

As you began to speak about watching your self whilst high (with a video camera), I felt the blood vessels between by forehead and ear moving faster and faster, as this idea appealed to my curiosity. I kept feeling that same vein throughout the video, as each new observation and occurrence in the video became clear, I felt the blood flowing to my brain faster and slower. At this moment, I'm also high and can't wait to try your idea. I've always enjoyed observing my self when high.

Hey i took ur advice and started to record myself. At first I was afraid of looking at myself objectively and felt awkward as fuck. But after awhile I was able to gain good insight of myself through an different angle and got mind fucked in the process. Btw ur new videos make me think of a 70's porno scene, i think its the lighting and music.

This is fantastic, Frizank. Good luck with the new gym! My life is all about solitary pursuits. When I workout at the gym, no matter how many people are there, I am alone, pursuing my own vision. When I am at the piano, or guitar, or singing, I am pursuing my own vision. When I am in front of this binary contraption, I am pursuing my quest for knowledge alone.

just wanted to ask if anybody knows, i always wanted to make a youtube but i felt the ristrictions on using other music put me off, since music is a big part of alot of videos, youtube states you cant be a partner with unaccredited or music without permission, so how did frank get this song in there whilst being a partner and not get banned?

You've I think once mentioned the idea of the world and us as subscribers being a part of your mind, and a reflection of your mind speaking to itself. Would you still behave like you describe in this video, if you truly believed ^ would you still not talk to nobodies? I still like your dedication to make videos.

Most of them are existing but not living.

'Fucking mind-fucker' should replace the expression mother-fucker. Being a mind-fucker as far more offensive. Nowadays when I watch Yang's videos, some parts I only see a BBC in flip-flops,trying to provoke me; I don't mind the image, but thinking of the intent arms my alpha-inclined mind for anti-penetrative battle.

Schopenhauer said it so it must be true. Schopenhauer, like Socrates and every other great philosopher, is just a man. They might be great intellectuals but making your own philosophies on life will always be greater than following what others have already laid down.

This video is so relate-able to my current standing life as I grow older I feel more detached , unable to deal with friends/people or want to deal with then, just follow my own path.
