I mean you could "50 degrees of separation" a horror comic book universe, the dc and marvel comics had a couple of crossovers in the late 90s early 2000s around that time batman and superman fought the predator and Ash is 'confirmed' to be a part of the marvel universe because of marvel zombies vs army of darkness, so we got Ash, Jason, Freddy, xenonorph, predators. Jason met Leather face in a comic book so we can add him to the list. I'm sure there's way more but that was all I can think of off the top of my head

I gotta hand it to both comics for at least having a BIG idea of what to do with these characters and how to showcase their biggest strengths in the climatic final battles. The idea of the past victims of Freddy coming back to just massacre the entire army of deadites and bastard skellies is so cool to me, imagine how cool it'd look on the big screen. But yeah, the horned up characters along with the mischaracterization of Freddy, Jason, Ash and several legacy characters (except Tommy, surprisingly), reading these comics were not fun at times but I'm so glad they got Kill Counts (props to Zoran and the writers for making this wacky 2 part story digestible)
