This game has much more focus on gunplay, and the Abductors are much bigger than most Aragami. The Thorn mechanic is like nothing God Eater has, giving you both the ability to drag down and topple Abductors as well as letting you fly around the map like Walmart Spiderman. You also actually fight enemy humans in this one, which changes the dynamic even further.

I'm hoping this isn't as faithful of a remaster you claim it to be. If it is, this game will get ripped to shreds by anyone that doesn't have the nostalgia for this game. Because, let's be honest here, Freedom Wars had a stupid amount of problems. Remastering this game and it being successful would mean fixing a lot of those issues. Not simply moving it from one console to the next.

The only problem Freedom wars had was its control scheme relying on touch and gun wielding NPCs stun-locking you with no way to counter. It felt awful being bounced across the room from a sniper shot just to get up and have it happen again.
