Did you silicone the edges of the mounting plates as Ikon Motorsports recommended. They say it prevents moisture from setting in. I just ordered the louver and I'm not sure whether that portion is absolutely necessary or not. Thanks.

How 'bout aluminum louvers that weigh a good bit and are stiff and fight the curve of your car? Damn you, Zakustech! But yeah, adhesion promoter... guess I can try that. 3m and Gorilla 2way tape didnt do it. Silicone didnt either
