Wanted to be a cop once, took a jr policing course in HS. We did a mock building clearing drill one day, had these plastic-mold-firearms we used for training. Cops & robbers, 2 guys hide somewhere in the building & 2 officer go in & find em. I was a cop, we split up. Anyway while searching I turned into a hallway that had a little alcove with a couple vending machines. As I do I glance to my side & see him. This big 6 foot kid had wedged himself between the wall & the vending machine, like less than half a foot a space. He left his weapon arm facing outward. As soon as our eyes locked he pointed it right at me & I just shrugged my arms like 'well sh-'; 'cause I knew If it had been real I would be dead. All that to say your words are no joke.

I kind of understand what the suspect was meaning. Methamphetamine is an amphetamine, but not all amphetamines are meth. Meth and prescription amphetamines differ in their potencies, duration of effect, abuse potential, and risk of overdose. figuratively speaking it would be like somebody saying I've done crack but I've never done cocaine. or I've ate biscuits and gravy but I've never ate biscuits. I have to be keenly aware of the difference because I am actually prescribed the pharmaceutical methamphetamine called Desoxyn , Adderall is just an amphetamine. if I take a drug test for employment I fail for methamphetamine but I have to make them aware of it and why

Welcome to the US that remains "hidden" to a lot of people. Those who haven't grown up near it tend to not believe that this is reality. It's everywhere but "out of sight out of mind." Grew up in Ohio near a place like this. Drove through Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, both Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia and saw places like this. Stereotyped as a southern thing, but everywhere in the US outside of cities look like this.

I kind of understand what the suspect was meaning. Methamphetamine is an amphetamine, but not all amphetamines are meth. Meth and prescription amphetamines differ in their potencies, duration of effect, abuse potential, and risk of overdose. figuratively speaking it would be like somebody saying I've done crack but I've never done cocaine. or I've ate biscuits and gravy but I've never ate biscuits. I have to be keenly aware of the difference because I am actually prescribed the pharmaceutical methamphetamine called Desoxyn , Adderall is just an amphetamine. if I take a drug test for employment I fail for methamphetamine but I have to make them aware of it and why
