Canoe please listen to me this might help you discover new stuff, so there is beef fat coconut fat, rice bran oil, duck fat and koel bird fat, I would rate the koel bird fat at top then duck fat, then beef fat the coconut or rice bran oil fat, please give each of them a try, The reason I recommend rice bran oil is because this oil does almost everything soyabean oil, and what soyabean oil does is it causes hormonal imbalance which the rice bran oil don't.

As an Egyptian, my mom has this amazing duck recipe that tastes soooo good! I think you would love duck so much more if you tried it. Start off with a whole duck, pluck the feathers and hairs out and soak it in water, vinegar, and salt for about 15 mins to get rid of that stinky smell and gamey taste. Then, move on to seasoning/rub. You're going to get 2 whole yellow onion and blend it into a paste with a lot of salt, cumin, Oriental cake(seasoning mix not sure if you'll be able to find it but it's a combo of cinnamon, fennel, anise, mahlab, nutmeg, and cloves. It's pretty important to the flavor so try to find it...), black pepper, and rosemary. Cut up orange slices and grate some orange zest into the onion mixture as well. After the duck is done soaking, wash it well and transfer it to a baking dish. Smother the duck in the onion mixture, and try to get some of it under the skin as well. Then, put the orange slices and some extra onion pieces inside the actual duck.(Bay leaves are optional but add good flavor inside too) Put less than a 1/4 cup of water just to stop the left over onion mixture from burning because it's going to make the duck fat taste like liquid gold. Cover in foil, and bake in the oven at 375 for about two hours, then uncover and cook for ten mins, with the last five on broil to get the crispy skin. Then it's done! Hope you enjoy, if you ever try it. This seasoning paste, minus the orange, works fantasic on lamb as well, highly recommend that too! I also wrote this from memory of watching my mom make it so sorry if its a bit scrambled 😅
