I saw this channel for the first time yesterday and I found this recipe interesting and I showed this to Amma and she remembers that this was one among a "naalumani palahaaram" which her mother used to make for them during their childhood days, but later amma totally forgot about this particular snack. So today we decided to make this snack for the evening and It was so delicious and tastes really good.. Normally I dont eat food stuffed with coconut, I never eat kozhukatta, and such other coconut stuffed snacks.. But this one tasted wonderful and a big Thank you, chechy for this recipe.. Also checked your rava cake recipe and will try it soon ❤

എന്റെ അമ്മ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഇല ഇല്ലാത്ത അട ഇങ്ങനെയാണ്. മാവ് കുറച്ചു കൂടി വെള്ളം കുറിച്ച്.not like chappatti..just a bit more.. എന്നിട്ട് ഒരു നേർത്ത കോട്ടൺ യുണി വെള്ളത്തിൽ നനച്ച് പിഴിഞ്ഞ അതിൽ മാവ് പരത്തി നടുക്ക് തേങ്ങ കൂട്ട് വച്ച് അടച്ച് തുണിയിൽ നിന്ന് എടുത്ത് ദോശകല്ലിൽ ഇടും.👌അട ഓർമ്മ വന്നു.ഇന്ന് ഉണ്ടാക്കണം

We can prepare on cold iron tawa directly with out heating. We can prepare with ragi, jowar and rice flour adding little ghee instead of oil. For stuffing u can mix grounded jackfruit or mango pulp along with coconut, jaggery and elachi. It will be super. Please try.

Hi Chechi... Njn 3 types wheat ottadayum udakki, enikum ente husbandnum ishta pettath ullil thengha neracha koott aanu.... I have made ottada using rice flour but first time trying using wheat flour... The outcome was truly amazing... Thnx Chechi... Expecting such kind of different recipes in the future also...

Very good healthy evening snack made from wheat. I tried it once and my family absolutely love this recipe. I made it first without ela( because we don’t get fresh Vazhayila here in North Carolina all the time) and we liked it and when I made with Vazhayila everyone was saying it tastes good even without ela. So now onwards I’m going to make ottada without ela. It has become our family favorite and I have been making it at least once a week. A big thank you. Looking forward to more healthy recipes like this with a Kerala touch. ❤️ from USA
