Your definitely my favourite channel to watch these days steve. Love your mix of arcade and console pick ups. And you always come across as real enthusiast. When you said you picked a Galaxian up yesterday I didn’t think to watch your video,I’m a bit behind with vids. I think your storage idea is great by the way with the vision of a bigger arcade. Not played outrun in 6 weeks, definitely time to move it on to me Steve 🤣🤣🤣 Outzone is a quality Toaplan game, I never knew there was a sequel. I need one of those arcade clocks so jealous of yours and Alex’s lol Wow another cab added to the games room bro Galaxian a classic and a great little project looking good I do kinda regret selling my Lynx collection it’s such a niche handheld loads of great games very different The Occulus Quest 2 is awesome I got one just before Christmas and I don’t get to play it often as Eden hogs it hahaha

Awesome stuff, Steve. I've been toying with grabbing a Lynx now the new screens are available and the Everdrives are easy to come by. Must get an Oculus Quest at some point too; everyone raves about them.

Couldn’t recommend the Quest enough fantastic bit of kit mate, the elite strap is a good investment too, the standard strap is a bit of a pain

Awesome selection of pickups mate! You have done a fantastic job on Galaxian! It looks awesome in the corner of the lounge too! Definitely should stay there. Love how it reflects off the lamp legs too. Oculus does sound very interesting. I know you have hyped it up to me so might have to give that a try when I see you next.

That trackball/marble madness setup is outstanding, it’s such a great version on the Amiga, miles better than the ST version which isn’t bad to start with. I’ve never seen that PAL box before, probably would have bought it if I had. I completely agree about the Quest 2, it’s one of those things you can’t show/explain, you have to try to understand. You can even play classics like Quake 1&2, the original Half life, the original DOOM, all in VR using Sidequest, and it is something else. I never had those football masters games, but I know proper nostalgic joy when I see it 😂

Didn’t even think of playing classics via vr will look into that. Strange how the Atari port isn’t as good as the Amiga, the ST should be powerful enough to handle it and it’s an Atari game!!

The Galaxian cab turned out great steve, looks really nice, i remember that cab from back in the day, pure nostalgia for me, played the game quite a lot along with phoenix, always loved those two games.

Brilliant mate. The sound when first started playing Galaxian 👌🏻 Great pick ups as ever.... I still havnt tried Tommy's Oculus 🤷🏼‍♂️ I really want to play Half Life Alyx on it👍 I definitely want to upgrade the screens on my handheld too eventually.

Football masters....lost so many hours on that game between my mate john and my brother awesome game for its time! You did a good job on that galaxian cab Steve dont be too harsh on yourself mate! Some lovely additions across the formats, still got my eye on the oculus q2 i dont think ive heard a bad word about it tbh!

Nah I’m happy the way the art turned out, just a learning curve that’s all, will know next time, just need to remind myself that it was craftsman making these cabs, they were thrown together with all sorts of little defects. Enjoyed the gamesroom / arcade run through at the beginning, I like to see what's running on the cabs, especially the candy cabs, outrun is kind of easy to guess what's playing on it lol I love hellfire, especially the pc engine version which has an awesome cd soundtrack, better version than the md imo, nothing beats the arcade original though, excellent pcb addition, shame a lot of the shooters now fetch crazy money. Galaxian cab looks fantastic, what a beauty, hope you realise your dream of a bigger gaming space one day. I have the atari Indiana Jones and the temple of doom game on the amiga,,I recently watched a comparison video of all the versions, let's say it's a long way from arcade perfect and leave it there lol one of my favourite arcade games ever, obviously you need is for the collection though regardless of its quality. Well done, you have to be at the top of the UK utube gamesroom tree, I see lots of people agree with me there, job well done 👍

Definitely might take you up on Indiana Jones though...just sourced the last Sega arcade port in the library and the other Atari port I was after, only Temple of Doom left, wish the Capcom ports were just as easy to find🙈

Had a choice for a Lynx or a GameGear ... went for the GameGear as I had the Master System .. Still want one APB Toki California Games just few I wouldn't mind playing ... with that ever drive and screen think that might be on my list. The Galaxian cab looks the nuts, done well with that side art glad the monitor works nice of Dave to let you know about it. Football masters never played it think I missed out there .. Oculus Quest 2 does look brilliant for games and films .. something for the whole family to use That dyna blaster cart for the C64 again looks nice ... one game me and Steve used to play a lot The setup is amazing Cheers Steve ..

What an awesome pickup, good job on those vinyls too. What boxes do you use to store your PCBs? They look really nice, I'm worried about mine getting bumped around, I don't have many but as you know these things add up quickly. I'm still surprised how much you can fit in your room, it looks amazing.

They’re corstat pcb anti static boxes www.gwp.co.uk/conductive/corstat/transit-packs/ They’re not cheap🙈but if you’ve got boards worth £100s it’s not much to pay to protect them. I was lucky that a mate gave me a few to protect my more expensive games, I just use postal boxes with antistatic bubble wrap for my cheaper ones

Yep there definitely too much red... As I say I think I’ve got to put it back directly against the tube as when it was just under the glass bezel it was so dark you could barely see the enemy bullets with the monitor brightness right up! But the plastic moulding below the glass you can see where it would’ve been stuck on with double sided tape🤔 Really strange

Vetrex looks amazing ...swos update My second consecutive season with Birmingham City..I lost in the play offs last season to wolves, and yes I cheated about 5 times saving the games before playing loland still lost .So now I'm half way through second season ,I'm currently 4th ,7 points behind automatic promotion, got 2 .25 million in the bank ,trying to sign peter undlov from premier league Coventry City lol ..they won't sell him for shit..96/97 swos loving it to bits ...I should be premier division by ur next video post steve ..Will let u know how I'm getting on then ..from Atari ste to amiga 1200 ..loving it ,great video to mate galaxian cab looks great
