All things considered, I'm happier with whining about KZbin videos than racism and such. jpgamer1000 In the beginning, there was a game developer who did some research, wrote out some notes to use this research (and make sure he didn't contradict himself anywhere), then threw a lot of little details into the game before letting the players sort the lore out for themselves. There's a couple videos on this channel and a bunch of other sources everywhere on the subject of Freddy's "true" story, but...

In GTA 4, I first discovered this: 1. Find an area with a cop or cops just standing around (train stations are best). 2. Keep walking into someone, without pushing them, or punching them. Just keep bumping into them. 3. When they get mad enough to want to chase you and beat you up, lead them over to where the cops are. 4. Let the person chasing you catch up to you and hit you. 5. If you're close enough to the cops, the person that hit you will get arrested. 6. Repeat.

I don't necessarily believe that just because Rockstar SAYS this bias doesn't exist means that it doesn't. In regards to the GTA series, Rockstar has said a more than a few things that plain weren't true about the series and how they were made. However! Even if such a bias does exist in the game's code doesn't automatically say to me that Rockstar has a hidden racist agenda. To me, it says more that they were trying extra hard to make this game as real as it could be. By coding in these hidden "difficulty modes" denoted by a character's skin colour, it gives players a taste, albeit a small one, of racial bias in life. To me, this says less about a hidden racist agenda and more about a hidden agenda of social consciousness. This might be one of the most incredibly responsible things Rockstar has ever done with games, and their flippant dismissal of the accusation is just a big red herring.
