Some random lad I don’t think that’s what we should be focusing on anyway, it’s more that he’s being seen with another woman, and as his argument states, is a sign that he is cheating on Peach at that time of the timeline. Besides, MattPatt doesn’t seem like the type to intentionally lie, for he and his team seem to always tries to make the best theory he can with as little as a biased perspective as possible. And sometimes some things fall through the cracks, but the main evidence for the big picture is still there. (Most of the time, like I said some things fall through and we’re bound to make mistakes. I mean, we’re only human after all). And I’m the 100% thing was just him trying to hype people up, not realizing how it could sound to some people. And please don’t take this as me attacking anyone, I don’t want to offend anyone, I just wanted to remind you to try to keep an open mind on things. I recall seeing a comic on an online series called "Brawl in the Family," in which Mario defeats Bowser and rescues Peach. Peach then tells him about Bowser's awful curse he placed on the toads, turning them all into bricks. Mario then, feeling awkward, tells her that MAYBE that's not a great idea, and as he says it, is recounting all the times he pulverized those blocks rummaging for coins. The thumbnail also says "And he turned all the yoshis into power-up mushrooms!"

I just saw this, in the manual for Super Mario Bro’s, it says that the toads were turned into bricks, not brick blocks, its a stretch but the brick blocks might not even be the toads at all.
