Success for me is when you have enough flower to give your friends a big sack. Then a week or so later you get the call " man this might be the best bud I ever smoked" and then they start talking about how one cultivar is great during the day and how others are great for relaxing after work.

In the winter, everytime I open my tent the RH drops at least 15 points instantly because my tents are in the 60's RH while my lung room is in the 30's or low 40's. It will go back up once I close the tent back up. I can't see that being a problem.

I'm hoping the next stage of light tech will be more spectrum control. I'm a firm believer that it's the spectrum that tells the plant how to grow, not the ppfd. I would like to see lights with dimmers for blue, red, and a main spectrum.

Has anyone ever done an organic dry amendment run and the plants have Not faded out?? I don't think I've ever had one plant grown organically that hasn't faded.. they always fade out & stop drinking. I think that is the sure fire way to know they are ready for harvest... fall colours must be a must..

Another good organic dry amendments fertilizer is the happy frog line from fox farm. Ran it for a couple of years before switching to craft blend. I personally used the tomato and vegetable blend in veg and the fruit and flower blend for flower. Prefered the happy frog over gaia green and it comes in about half the price of gaia. Can be used with same feeding schedule as most dry amendments. ✌️

Now I did let it go for a little longer because she wasn't quite ready.. But i've never had crispy leaves on the bottom... the sugar leaves and everything were crispy...

Hey Mr. G! I have a question for you, it's a long winded explanation so please bare with me here. My plants have been dying off recently, not just one or two, literally all of them (20+). My set up is as follows: Coco Coir, synthetic nutrients (switched later to organic), 1 gallon pots, RO water, 2 tents, LED 720w and HPS 600w, temps are consistent, humidity is consistent, airflow is good, from Cape Town, South Africa. Here's the situation; I have had multiple successful grows up until the 3rd month of this year, that's when my plants started to die off. I have been taking clones of clones for 11 generations and on the 9th, I started noticing some stuff... 9th Gen: slower growth, significantly more compact node spacing, when flipping to flower everything got worse. Fan leaves started dying off all over the plant and then the thrips showed up. Killed off with Swirskii. 10th Gen: switched medium to fully organic (Orgalux by Dirty hands) from using General hydroponics Tripart, same problems + poor root development (tight and wouldn't travel), dying leaves before F2F, thrips showed up again and was treated with Swirskii (ineffective), worsened by F2F, used organic Neem and Pyrol for thrips (successful), died by drying out before end of flower. 11 Gen: Fully organic, added microbes to soil (product called Biodyne Liquid Gold), same issues, plants didn't even make it to flower before leaves started dying off. Any ideas😬 Thanks for all your content!! P.S. Any idea what happened to Mr. Canucks?

I have the opposite problem . My humidity is always through the roof more so because I grow in all aeroponics systems. It's tough to get to 70% rh. My plants grow like you can't believe. From clone to Bush in a month. The next thing with led will be water cooling. That will make the handle higher heat I believe.

Hey guys I've used just ab every dry organic amendment/fertilizer and the simple big box store brands work fine such as Dr. Earth, Jobes, Down to Earth, and even Pennington's. I'm trained as a master gardener and have studied the composition of many brands...not much difference at all except sticker price.

As long as I get a good high from it I consider it a successful grow. My first grow didn't produce much, still enough to keep me going for a few weeks but I did pretty much make every mistake in the book with that grow. I'm now roughly three-quarters of the way through my second grow, everything has been great other than they are growing at a slower rate due to a different soil that I've used this time, but the plants are all still healthy and looks like I'm going to get a really good crop from these ones.
@lanedow938
@lanedow938 11 ай бұрын
Hope you don't mind me asking but what mistakes did you make the first grow and what did you learn from it? I have a kit on the way and a shopping cart ready to be ordered once i figure out if i wanna go synthetic or organic. I care about terpenes so considering organic even tho its costy
@TheCraigy111
@TheCraigy111 11 ай бұрын
@@lanedow938 I didn't use a grow tent or any of the proper equipment to start with, so I wasn't getting the right temperatures or humidity levels, I wasn't even giving them the right light. The plant's growth was stunted for a good few weeks before I looked up youtube channels like Mr Grow It, and Highigan to see where I was going wrong and learning tips and tricks from all of them and ended up with a decent harvest and a very nice smoke. So I ended up getting the right equipment and watering and feeding them properly, the plants all bounced back almost within a single day and started growing. Feed-wise I've been using Royal Queen Seeds booster tablets and so far so good, no problems, I also get my seeds from them as well. I'm about to start my third grow, this time I'll be mixing my soil with perlite and worm castings to see how that goes.

I think with humidity as long as your average is what you set it at the plant will be okay. I'm currently in flower and my humidity can be 37 % one minute then as far as 55 to 60 the next while the dehumidifier turns off. but my average humidity is right on the number I want. I have wayyyyy more Bud sites than I've ever had. Like 80+ , I refuse to count them all.

I think what you said about just getting to harvest is a success. The longer I grow the more I learn that mother nature giveth and she taketh. But also that being said I say this from a mostly outdoor/greenhouse perspective and indoor is a whole other beast, indoor should be held to a much higher standard since you become mother nature. My most successful grows indoor all came from not just quality but from yield. I only use organic dry amendments blah blah blah I'm a hippie lol jk, but I grew for a few big legal ops in Oregon and colorado, I just began to hate conventional growing. Organic bud always tasted and smoked better so you just get to a point where success is personalized.

i think Tanmay misworded her question i think she is saying that using the correct amount of nitrogen all the way through will not hurt bud quality like how Dr. Bugbee Uses 20-10-20 all the way through and that amount of nitrogen does not hurt his buds even though he does not reduce nitrogen. could be wrong though

Plenty of reddit forums will reveal that they're a white label provider, so much better to choose.

@@stangcobra592 oh I know it. I just been seeing so many smash it outta the park these days with autos and I got the extra space to run em along side my prized genetics. Plus my son is really into autos so we been going in on packs together. But definitely gonna look other places for awhile abd steer clear of Fastbuds . At least till they get a Handel on the situation. I mean they’re probably not aware as they’re not breeders . But definitely gonna be addressing it with them soon. Ty

@@timpage5021 Let me suggest a few for you, Daz (Nightowl), 20Mendo, Atlas are all solid genetics. Fastbuds is garbage I ran 4 of their strains all thumbs down for trichs and density, never getting another penny from me.
