I am liking how this series is beginning to find its footing with the passing games. It started out as a culmination of everything wrong with the mascot horror genre-a poorly made, hollow experience that throws in lore to keep attention and makes characters as goofy and merchandisable as possible-to something mildly enjoyable and even a bit of a darker tone now, the Hanging Room definitely gave me the vibe at least.

They do really need to get better at programming and stuff, I mean they use Unreal Engine which has a blueprint mode so they don't need to code. Can't say it'd be hard. Also I guess the Baby makes sense cause we are looking for a child, but at least in Village the child you're looking for is a baby so at the same time...

I think while most is came up with on the spot, there's still some things that they've planned. BanBan being a part of the mutants was hinted at as early as GoBB 3. The drawing on the floor of BanBan with a guitar, and the music notes match on both that drawing and the mutant mural (when it wasn't fully revealed), and BanBan is the only one of the cast to specifically mention the mutants below. But yeah, while it's very likely a lot of the ideas are made on the spot, they at the very least have some rough idea of what they wanted to build up towards. I do like that as of GoBB 7, they have some interesting ideas going for them now. But if they can improve their coding, graphics, animations, mechanics, and the fundamental errors of their games, then they'll be all set and golden.

Huh. Y'know, I honestly lost any ounce of hope I had for this series when I saw how GoBB 6. I was not gonna give them a third chance. But, while GoBB 7, to me at least, kinda looks like it tried to copy the Dark Revival's aesthetics a bit too much, yeah, it certainly wasn't as painful as I expected. The drone's new mechanics are a massive step up, even if still very janky, they're certainly moving forward, finally!

I have to disagree, purely because I think that the reason the bros seemingly have good ideas but poor execution is because they're just attempting to copy other things, but don't have the skill to actually pull it off. I feel like anything decent in Banban can be directly traced back to something else (Like the occasional good puzzle or the jokes and memes), and the worst parts (like the drone) are the ones that are the most original.

@@Th3Badd3st idk I feel like people judge batim unfairly. It's a narrative based game centered around atmosphere and exploration. Yeah, it's gonna feel slow, cuz you're SUPPOSED to take your time, you're supposed to look around, take note of the environment. You can still make a good game without needing some constant intense gameplay. And with the amount of effort, thought, and content they put into bendy compared to banban, that feels like an unfair comparison. Especially since, y'know, bendy's code actually function properly compared to banban. I literally spent like two hours in banban 7 because of the drone, the bittergiggle chase (which, like I said before, you have to actually stand on the platform in the corner where the blue guy dove into to be able to jump into the exit because the exit is literally built just outside a normal jumping range, and I didn't know that I was actually supposed to interact with toadster so he could catch me cuz that was NOT clear). The puzzles were better, the story is slightly better, but the only thing that makes banban 7 playable whatsoever, is that it's supposed to be funny. Bendy is a game that is actually genuinely fascinating.

I can't find a single video where you explain why and how Bendy is bad, or any evidence that you played it whatsoever. But my main statement of how you were biased was because you seemed to lack an understanding of what the game is meant to be, which is why I called it biased and why I brought up Until Dawn in a previous comment. If a game is bad because it doesn't have much gameplay, then Until Dawn is the worst game ever. If you look at it as you'd look at a game such as FNAF or Mario or anything else, then that's a biased viewpoint, because you're not judging the game based on what it is, you're judging it based on what it's not and what it isn't even trying to be. As a game with complex and fun game mechanics, it's not a good game. As a narrative based horror game centered around environmental storytelling, sound design, and art, it's a good game. If you think that Garten of Banban 7 is more fun to you, that's one thing. If you think that Garten of Banban 7 has more quality when it comes to art, sound, music, storytelling, and gameplay, then you're wrong, and it's likely you're biased because you only look at gameplay and completely ignore every other aspect that makes a game a game in the first place. The only thing Garten of Banban 7 does better is gameplay. The story is nonsensical and told in boring lore dumps, the art is horrible and completely inconsistent, the sound design is ok during the game but that's only because using royalty free sound effects and music is easy (and I'm like 90% sure they use stock sounds and music because the trailers use literally the exact same theme everytime), and even though the gameplay mechanics are more varied they are far more frustrating and coded much more poorly. The animations are stiff and robotic, the character design could be outdone by a grade schooler, it's buggy, it piggybacks off of randomness to get a laugh out of the audience in order for it to even be slightly entertaining, and Bendy has done all of those things much better than Banban ever has. It's not better, I literally can't see any history of you experiencing the game other than watching your own friends' videos on it. And yeah, I'm going to defend the game from hate, because I find it detestable that a game with so much effort and love put into it can receive such unfair criticism. It's like hating Until Dawn because it's more of a movie than a game. EDIT: Also, my argument was not "I like it better", I explained why your statement is unfair. I don't need a "response", I respect you, I enjoy your content, but if you think that I commented because I so desperately need a response from my Lord and Savior there needs to be an ego check in place. I disagreed with you, criticized your statement, and described why I think your statement was unfair. That doesn't mean I need you to respond to it, acknowledge it, or even read the fucking thing.
