Hi Deron. Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you may be experiencing partial code functionality. Simply stated, your remote is using a code that only controls some of your device’s functions. If your TV has more than one code noted in the code list that came with your remote, try programming the remote using each of the other codes. There should be another code that better operates your TV. Gives roku codes but doesn't actually work for roku. Also doesn't say WHICH device button to use. I've tried Aud and dvd.

Hi. Thanks for reaching out. The "fav" key is the Favorites key, which lets you program up to 10 of your favorite channels for quick access. If you no longer have the manual that came with your remote, please use the following steps: Setting Up the Favorites Function: 1. Press and release the device button for the device that controls channel selection (e.g., TV, AUX, CBL). The indicator light will blink once. 2. Press and hold down the SETUP button until the remote's indicator light turns on. Release the SETUP button. The light will remain on. 3. Press and release the FAV button. The indicator light will blink once and remain on. 4. Press and release the numerical button (0-9) you will use for storing your favorite channel. The indicator light will blink once and remain on. 5. Enter the channel number you wish to program (e.g., 4, 21, 2.1 or 52.2). 6. Press and release the FAV button. The indicator light will turn off. Your favorite channel is now saved. 7. Repeat this process for up to nine additional channels. Using the Favorite Function: 1. Press and release the FAV button. The indicator light will turn on. 2. Press and release the programmed button for your favorite channel (0-9). The indicator light will blink twice and the remote will send the code for your preprogrammed channel. If this is not working properly and you've made sure there is a direct, unobstructed line of sight between the remote's IR signal and the TV, then I recommend you try programming your remote using the Auto Code Search method. If you're looking to change the TV picture's size ratio, accomplishing that will depend on which universal remote you have, as well as your TV brand. Some universal remotes will have a ratio button. It could say "ratio," "wide," "p.size" or something similar, or it could simply be an icon. Consult the remote's manual to see if your remote offers that feature. Keep in mind, however, that if your TV's original remote did not have a ratio button, then the ratio button on a universal remote will not work, as it's the TV that does not offer that feature through any remote. If that's the case or if your universal remote doesn't have a ratio button, then your best option would be to go into your TV's setup or settings menu and adjust the size ratio there.
