History lesson: Gender reveal parties weren't popularized until 2008. A woman had suffered through several miscarriages and none of them had gotten far enough along to find out the sex of her child. When she was finally able to have a child, she was so grateful and overjoyed that she threw a party just to celebrate with her friends being able to know something about her baby. She now regrets starting the trend, but her daughter is doing wonderfully.

Of course, often these people still absolutely love their child no matter what, but I still think that "gender" reveal parties aren't necessary bc you can also start assuming things about the child b4 they are born. Which is technically fine since they can't think for themselves until a certain age, but still you get the point. Personally I think "gender" reveal parties are best used a convenience on what to buy, but it doesn't matter if your 5 month old wears blue or pink.

I live in Salem Oregon. We've never had big fires here. Welp the fire has spread here too. Salem is safe for now but you can't go outside because the air quality is hazardous. The entire west coast is on fire in a way it's never been before...at least not in my lifetime. People are evacuating their homes. People's homes are burning down. @@SM-qv2om doesnt the ADHD community accept self-diagnosis? The autistic community does (I'm a part of it), and a diagnosis for anything can be really hard to get
