I'm a custodian and spend my day bent over, carrying a heavy vacuum on my back for extended periods of time, lifting, reaching, squatting, etc. I'm stiff as a board EVERYWHERE. This was exactly what the doctor ordered on a day off. Thank you!

This is a perfect bedtime routine when you’re tired and don’t want to stand or overload your wrists (you can even do the traditional pigeon pose rather than the variation here which is more challenging for wrists). Many so called gentle yoga sequences are actually really not that gentle! Thankfully I found you, Kassandra- your gentle, encouraging voice really helps to motivate. I have chronic pain & mobility issues & so far, this has been the best practice I have found that I can do within my limits & still feel like I’ve achieved something positive. Blessings to you

I also love the gentler and beginner practices despite being a more technically advanced practicioner! I find more of a mental stretch in the slower practices, not a challenge per se, but like a mental massage with moving my body through simple poses where I can get very intimate with the sensations. It's like meditation.

the neck stretches at the start of this practice saved me this morning! I had just pinched my neck while making the bed, and was concerned about losing mobility over the day. Have you created an end of day or a mid-day short series to address "teleworking syndrome"? Stuck at the desk and getting stiff neck/shoulders/wrists/hips, etc etc? It is 102 degrees outside today and no AC. This was perfect stretch for a very hot day. My spine felt stressed and sore at the beginning of the practice and in the end no more soreness or stiffness. I love all your sessions.

Last week I had an accident and got a minor concussion, so I was a bit hesitant to go back to yoga where so much depends on balance and lots of poses involve being upside down, which I don't trust myself to do yet. So this was a wonderful way of going back to doing something I love and just for me. Thank you Kassandra for this seated flow! ✨

I have to get yoga practice back into my life. I'm nearly 69 and have been waking up with lower back so stiff that it's hard to get out of bed. This practice in the afternoon after walking my dog is a good start.

Being in my third trimester, this seems to be the only class I can do. Everyone is so in their zone and most poses too difficult for my body that causes pain.... Sitting down in bed doing this helps with modifications for my body, and I thank you deeply 🙏🏻 much appreciated for your thoughts for those who want an effective and gentle stretch ❤

I just had oral surgery and strenuous activity is off-limits as I recover. I usually exercise daily. I can't even do normal yoga flows as the inversion (i.e., from downward dog) is bad for the healing. This kind of flow was EXACTLY what I needed. I'm so glad to have found it. Thanks so much!

I live with autoimmune disease = chronic fatigue and pain. Yoga and Anti-inflammatory diet (Vegan WF, sugar-free, gluten-free) have been my go-to for managing the pain for years, but the past 2 years have really turned up the dial on the fatigue = I'm lucky if I can brush my teeth, let alone consider doing yoga. The past year was largely spent in bed = muscle atrophy, tendinitis easily triggered and my neck felt like stone. Sleepless nights - as many as 3 in a row - due to the pain. I remembered that you have a cornucopia of videos with a wide range of time committment as well as degree of exertion and promised myself that I would at the very least do a 10 min bedtime Yin session nightly. It wasn't long before I added morning Yin and now I find I have days I want and need to do 20-30 minute sessions.. Still in bed, but there's no ignoring the progress. I could go on, but I just wanted to thank you so much for offering up so much - but especially yoga one can do in bed! I hope 2022brings you great things!

I just got home from a week long trip where I wasn't able to do any type of real stretching. I bounced between being smooshed on a bus or plane seat to some type of physical activity. My body is sore all over but i needed a gentle way to help it move back into stretching, This video was a great way to energize my body this morning and help it back into flexibility. Thank you!
