Well, I'm not from Comoros. But I live in France and there's a lot of them there, about 500.000 I believe. I know some, they are all from Ngazidja and they are really respectful and devout people. They all recognise Mayotte as a part of Comoros.

I always love learning more about island nations. No offense to mainland or landlocked nations. They are interesting too. It's just that island nations usually have this allure and exoticism that surrounds their history and culture. Perhaps it's my mind telling me to book more vacation getaways. But I feel so enticed to learn more about island sovereignties for some reason. Also, I grew up with Bananas in Pajamas, so major points, Barby!

Fatortu Since I found this channel only about 3 months ago, I actually watched it recently and I was suprised to hear about the existence of a country named "Bandiaterra"... At first, I thought that the video was about a recently-declared independence country/state, somewhere in China or South-Eastern Asia. Then, when he said about it being located in an archipelago in the Indian Ocean I was imediately like "Wait, what? Is he talking about the Chagos Archipelago or what, such islands do not simply exist!" :O. I checked the upload date of the video and realised it was posted on April 1st! xD I now knew it was a joke, but I still watched the rest of the episode with a lot of pleasure! :D I am amazed what imagination Paul has, and how he made it so it seemed as if he was talking about an actual real island nation! He is truly amazing! :D
