Jess ~ Your transparency and vulnerability is what brought me to this channel. I vividly remember the video of you standing in front of your refrigerator and not being able to open-the door without it hitting your body. You gave people a visual, showing them the struggle, frustration, humiliation and being able to overcome that obstacle a HUGE WIN for you! I laughed and I cried for you, as I too, could totally relate. You gained popularity as you exposed many of the dark, unspoken secrets and challenges that come from being at an unhealthy weight. You were honest, so brutally honest with yourself and all of us. Your courage was infectious and empowering! Your motivation was contagious, overflowing through the screen! A cup that constantly pours into others and does not refill will eventually run dry. Please allow me to encourage, uplift and pour back into your cup, in hope that once again your cup may be full. Go back to your roots, the very beginning, where you were so vulnerable and brutally honest with yourself. It starts there. Please watch at 15.23 mark of this video. You state “do what you can do now, there’s no right or wrong answer” this statement is false. It starts in our mind with the lies we tell ourselves. There definitely are wrong and right answers. It isn’t until we get brutally honest with ourselves, only then can we move forward. Filming from the shoulders up, positioning the camera at favorable positions, trying to hide from the truth , your truth, my truth, many of the viewers truth is EXACTLY what keeps us in this never ending cycle of shame, hiding, destructive behaviors. I was that girl that hid in pictures behind everyone else, couldn’t fit into a booth at a restaurant comfortably, felt like everyone was always watching me & everything I put in my mouth. I couldn’t move forward until I ripped off the mask I had been hiding behind and got real with myself! I looked painfully at photos of myself, saw the sadness in my eyes, stopped lying to myself about what I was eating, how much I was eating, how little I was exercising, how I looked in my clothes, the size I actually wore and how it made me feel. I asked myself brutally hard questions. Why did I feel the need to hide? Who or what was I hiding from? What was the payoff from eating foods I knew were not good for me? Why do I continue to be so disrespectful to myself? Am I worthy? These questions led to more questions which was KEY 🔑 to unlocking Pandora’s box. I couldn’t fix things I refused to acknowledge or see. I couldn’t move forward without seeing and feeling the pain. I couldn’t move forward without recognizing the lies and the part I played in keeping the truth hidden. I couldn’t expect other people to respect me, love me and care for me when I didn’t love, care or respect myself! I was drinking excessively, eating excessively, shopping, coaching, schooling, being busy to occupy space and time always in excess, WAY TO MUCH! Sweet Jess, I see so many similarities in you and myself. I want you to know that I appreciate you and I am rooting for you! I pray you have the courage to ask yourself the hard questions and find the truth that leads to setting you free! Godspeed

Jess, please try to understand what's going on here with your subscribers. They are not trying to be toxic or rude. What's happening is you're giving tips and advice on a subject matter that you clearly no longer abide by. Rather than talking about what YOU are going through with your diet, or your difficulties sticking with it and what YOU plan on doing, you give advice on what your followers need to do. In turn, this causes frustration and resentment. You make announcements on your videos, then don't follow through. You preach about staying on course and what needs to be done in order to lose weight, yet, you clearly have gained quite a bit. On top of it, you deliberately not mention it as if it hasn't happened , leaving your viewers confused and perplexed. We are here to support each other. If you are struggling, we are here for you. But, you have no right to be giving advice on the matter. I hope you see this. Perhaps, one of your friends who comment on here, might relay this to you. Perhaps, you should pull back awhile from making videos? Or, change your content to something else? This is working anymore, Jess. All these videos do is cause anger and frustration.

OMG! You hit the nail on the head. We are not trying to bully Jess. I do not care that she hasn't lost weight or even gained it. We all do. And, we all can relate. I care about the deception behind her channel lately. I don't like being taken a fool. The channel is longer about rewinding health as she proclaims. It's about keeping her sponsorship with LMNT. Wanna talk about rude? Last year she called her followers cockroaches for calling her out. Also, her friends are the ones that come on here and accuse us of this nonsense.

I was just wondering when a new video was coming…I started watching a few years ago when momentum and consistency was more prominent. I’m not sure what Jess still gets from sharing with us, it’s not accountability or motivation from what I can see. For my personal journey, I do best when I stop talking and start doing. I have to just focus on staying on track daily and not professing what I’m doing to others. The results (energy, movement) speaks for itself. Continuing to wish you well and continued progress towards maintenance.

This morning I rewatched your video from a few years ago where you talked about emotional eating. You talked about how we warm up for exercise and mentioned questions you ask yourself as a “warm up” before you make a food choice that’s not aligned with your health goals. I was really a helpful reminder for me. I’m at the airport waiting to board a plane and this is usually where I’m triggered to get snacks. As I was looking at all the snacks I asked myself if I was hungry (no), if this would help me with my goals (no), if I’ll starve without a snack (no), is this the last time I’ll ever be able to eat a snack again (no). So Instead I just stuck with my water. If I hadn’t watched that video I’m not sure I would have been mindful enough to pause before following through on my airport snacking habits 😂. I can relate to the ups and downs of learning to make lifestyle choices one day at a time. Appreciate you!

My guess is she has a contract with LMNT and is doing the minimum to fulfill her contract. Looking at her house, she certainly is not poor.
