Man I am so grateful for you guys!! Until I found Mind Pump a couple of months ago I found myself stumbling through the mess of the health and fitness world. It’s really a breath of fresh air hearing people talk common sense about topics that have been politicized and way misleading. I have my first baby on the way and I really want to get the Maps bundle before the little one comes!!

Hi guys... I am 38yrs old, an Airline pilot, mother of 2 kids, and a regular listener of ur podcast. My weighing scale says that I weigh 63kg with 35% body fat. I have taken ur advice seriously and have started barbell training, compound lifts 3 days per week. I can completely relate to one of ur callers when she said she is getting " fluffy". I would really appreciate if you could suggest an apt MAPS program for me..taking into account my hectic work which deprives me of the luxury of having a routine. You guys are making a difference in the lives of many. Thank u. God bless. Love from Mumbai. P.S- Adam ur little Max looked SUPERRRR cute at the movie theater with the tickets in his hand.. I too must take some time out and take my kids for a movie. You guys inspire at EVERY level.

You want a the most valuable hint in the world get ready…..It all comes down to this. Eliminate processed food. Hear me out, when was the last time you sat down and ate 500 calories of apples that’s 5 apples. You never have never would and never will however you can eat 500 calories of potato chips in 10 minutes and most people do everyday. I fought to the point of praying to God for help to stop eating too much. One day I said no more processed food and sugars and that was it. It’s not even a battle anymore. It was literally that simple.

I danced ballet for around 5 years (and honestly, that’s not long enough to mean anything much 😂) and there is a huge focus on controlling TVA for pirouettes and lengthening of the body to appear lighter on our toes. We are taught to always activate the TVA which might explain why ballet dancers appear so thin. The queue my ballet instructor would give us is pretend there is a string that is attached in the middle of our gut, and strings through to the top of our head, and pretend someone is pulling it up taut.

I'm a new lifter consistent for maybe 4 months. I lifted in the past but never for a consistent period of time. Since starting listening to you guys I am extremely pumped to get consistent at lifting. I usually live in the 8-10 range for my big lifts. Yesterday I did unilaterals in the 12+ range of the compound lifts.......and it whipped my butt (not in the bad way that you warned against). I am seeing significant strength and stabilizer imbalances so I am glad I started training like this. Thanks for your advice. Eventually I will save up enough to get your guys programs

I’ve only been watching for the last 4 months but honestly taking everything you guys have said about going up in calories and “cutting in reverse” I’ve been constantly in the gym for 6 months and i slowed to almost a halt only eating 1800 calories a day and still trying to lift as hard wasn’t working so I took the advice and went up to 2400 over time and I’ve started to go down again and I’m feeling more energized during my workout! Great advice guys thank you!🙏🏽

Just want to add that both you guys and Greg Doucette have helped me with my fitness journey. I am actually using Gregs beginner lifting program currently. I have plans to try out some of yours also. But he does utilize bench, squat, deadlift, row, and overhead movements. It does say "of choice", making it up to the user what to do. So I just do barbell everything.

I love how you guys are able to put into words things I have been thinking and doing for years. As an example, I hurt my back nearly 20 years ago, and it was sensitive for years. Eventually, I finally got physical therapy, and it changed my life. I now know from you guys that they had my doing (and I still do) isometric holds to strengthen the related muscles, to include a hollow hold. Which is how this episode got me thinking about that. I still do hollow holds kinda randomly (like if I am bored sitting in traffic), life changing for my back

Thanks guys, this advice is helpful to me (the force is strong with this one) I'm 34 and I've been on an 8 year gradual bulk and put 6 inches on my waist (now 38 inches) and I have had enough. So when I heard about mind pump i dived straight in, I bought Sals book and some equipment and am following the program he has laid out in it. And using tricks like the vacuum though out the day. I feel great, but I do feel tempted to try to take a short cut to loose belly fat but I trust what you guys are saying about increasing my metabolism buy gaining muscle so I'm gonna stick with it. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks again 👍

This is the very first time I'm hearing about heavy THC use possibly causing birth defects through sperm's gene expression. I had a daughter born with a rare genetic disorder. I do not smoke weed at all. My husband smokes regularly all day, every day. Just like some people smoke cigarettes. Well, that particular disorder is inherited OR it begins for some unknown reason and will be passed on throughout our bloodline. I never considered that heavy marijuana use could cause something like that to happen. I was a bit older when I had her, which did raise the chance of chromosomal abnormalities but I never knew sperm could affect development. Just a very interesting fact. Thanks for sharing. I'm excited to research it further.
