I find it really odd that they didn't immediately wake up Burke to ask him if he had heard anything or if he knew where his sister had gone. If one kid is missing, the other one might know where she is.

+EnemyAce88 I agree. In any other context concerning a missing or injured child you wouldn't involve a sibling in the drama - a hit and run accident or something like that; leave him his innocence etc. But in this instance it's the first thing you'd do. _Did you see or hear anything son?_

What I find odd is that it was said that JonBenet would receive a special gift after Christmas from Santa and then John finds his daughter in the wine cellar dead after Christmas. It was also said that she might have been sexually abused by her murderer who knows. All I want is for the BASTARD THAT DID THIS TO THIS POOR BABY to be brought to justice and never set free.... this child deserve to know who killed her -RIP baby girl

They should have taken the parents for interrogation immediately! Although they would have gotten lawyers in any case...Patsy may have cracked at that point.

Perfect Murder Perfect Town's goal was to give the viewer as much information as possible in order to help with the investigation. It was based mostly on police reports available at the time and went as far as making sure the sets and outfits were identical to the Ramsey home and family so it could stay true to reality. Because there was so much info and they wanted to be precise it was long and played originally as a mini series. This movie is more for entertainment value.

One of them killed her & the other covered up for them, it was so played out, Patsy wrote the note, no sign of forced entry, don't but the crap about some neighbor getting to her, John was rich he could afford the best lawyers & why 118,000 that's ridiculous!!! They were so eat up with their showy lives makes me sick, the police always get blamed for not handling the evidence properly, what better way to look innocent!!!

ok, the cop is in the basement, and did not do a thouruogh search of the entire house, top to bottom, and when the detectives and crime scene investigators arrived, they should have made the entire family leave right away and seal the entire house off as a crime scene

Although it was noted, was it ever explained as to why Patsy had on the same outfit from the night before? I always found that a bit peculiar especially from such a fashion conscious person like Patsy.

LisaDawnn She said she just threw them on because they were lying close by her bed. However, this film shows her putting on her makeup in the morning, but if she really put the clothes on after she woke up I don't imagine that she intended to wear the same clothes all day. If anything, she would have just put them on until she finished packing and doing her morning chores. Therefore, putting on her makeup didn't make sense. It wasn't like she was going to see anyone before she had a shower.

Oh, what a good way of justice being served! Hoping the suspect "may have cracked". That way of thinking shows more than anything the inability of some people to find real evidence.

The Ramseys didn’t murder their child, nor was it her brother. Everyone believes false information put out there. And if you think they didn’t “act right”, tell me where is the etiquette written for how one is “supposed” to act when they find their little daughter dead!? You don’t think, oh this is a crime scene, you just know you’ve found your little girl that was missing and you scoop her up! Would you expect to behave rationally and logically in that situation? None of us can even imagine the horror they were going through!!

Is Mackenzie Rosman in this movie? Because some sites on this movie say that she portrayed JonBenet. Others say Julia Granstrom portrayed her.

Here's my opinion: With all the evidence I have heard about over the years I 100% firmly believe in the Ramsey's innocence. I don't believe they had anything to do with JonBenet's murder. If people themselves really studied this story and got facts from every angle I think it would be hard for anyone to think the parents did it. JonBenet had taser marks on her neck, but they never talk about that. I think an intruder was lying in wait, tased her once she was asleep, then when she was out, or unable to move or talk, that's how/when the killer was able to get her downstairs without making any noise. OR - knocked her over the head making her pass out then tased her downstairs. DNA found on JB's clothing and under her fingernails didn't match anyone in the family. I believe it was someone who somehow knew what Jon Ramsey's bonus was (thus, they were able to request that much in the ransom note), and I believe that whoever did it got in through that little window in the basement. There was a suitcase under that window and it is believed that the killer used that as a step up to get out when leaving. There were fibers found on JB's clothing, fibers that matched with whatever was in that suitcase. It is thought that the killer tried to take her away in that suitcase but then couldn't get it out for whatever reason so then they just left her body in that little room. Everyone reacts differently in times of crisis. I don't think it's fair for anyone to say "they did it!" just because they didn't act a certain way.

I agree. Another fact that isn't talked about is that the bed skirt in the guest bedroom had been u tucked in one spot as well f someone had hid under the bed and wiggled there way out. You should watch the haunting evidence episode one the Ramsey case, although I don't believe in psychics the story they show is very believable

read foreign faction by kolar. the stun gun marks do not match, but what does is model train tracks. they match up. The Ramseys were smart. They hired high priced Lawyers and a PR firm. There was a lot of politics involved and still is. Talk to someone about tazers and how they work. There are lots of things pointing to them including the hand writting. They were somehow involved in a cover up.

It doesn't make sense. If they did not write the ransom note, why would you call the police when the note specifically told them if they called the police she would die. Also, neither John or Patsy made any notice of the fact that the killer had not called between 8 and 10 that morning. It's obvious the note was written in the house to explain why Jonbenet was dead.

That episode was nothing but Lou Smit's theory. It's already been proven that an intruder could not have come through the basement window without disturbing the spider web which was still in the window in the crime scene photos. Also, the marks on the body which Lou Smit claims to be a stun gun doesn't even match up. The marks actually have been proven to have been made by a piece of track from Burke's train set.

@@phillipivey5476 Exactly!!! I think they covered up for Burke. I have been watching and reading a lot about the case lately. I think it is exactly what you said...the ransom note was to explain a motive for her death (since she was already dead). They probably invited the friends over and called the police so it would look like they broke the rules.
