Fellow chronic illness warrior. I know what you’re dealing with. It’s a tough fight when it’s hard to see the light at the end of the extremely long tunnel of multiple doctors, never ending tests, and tireless frustration. I promise the day you get your diagnosis it’s the most relieving feeling in the world. My correct diagnosis took over 8 years with many incorrect diagnoses before getting the correct one. Advocate for yourself the entire way and never stop fighting for yourself, never settle for an answer if you think it’s wrong, and demand answers from all the doctors. You’ll find the right team for you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ save your spoons

I just rewatched this, it was one of the very first Emmy videos I ever watched. I love these videos 😍 It's on my list of videos I watch when my anxiety is acting up at bed time. Not because they're voting or dull, I don't know if it's her voice or what but if I can make myself focus, it really does help me not feel quite so on edge and I can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep to them. It's even helped me when I felt a panic attack coming on but didn't have access to my medication. Not much else helps in that situation so I'm very grateful to have found Emmy and her videos. Please keep them coming and thank you for providing such quality content!! They've helped me so much.

Bird and reptile eggs are all pretty similar! Yolk colour varies-many penguin and duck eggs have redder yolks when we open them to check in on developmental issues, while most turtle yolks are buttery yellow unless a baby has used up some of the nutrients and then passed inside the shell, still bound by their umbilicus, and even chickens, with poor nutrition, can produce nearly white yolks, but they're all just whites (glaire, or albumen-basically lubricated cushion from inside the womb-equivalent) and yolks (vitellus-nutrients for the baby, the kind of things our mums gave us through our umbilici, they get through theirs from their yolk which mum made, rather than direct from the source)

The worlds largest "over easy" egg. I love it! Your analogy with the English Breakfast was spot on. My mind went more in the direction of the "Country, or Southern" breakfast that I grew up with. 2 ostrich eggs, 4 giant slabs of bacon, 4 roasting pan size biscuits and about a gallon or so of breakfast gravy. (Mentally scaling the other parts to the size of that ostrich egg). Nutritionally horrible, but I would die a very happy man trying to eat just a large portion. LOL. I recently found your channel and am playing catch up. Your enthusiasm and openness is contagious. Thank You for doing what you do.

BennyGesserit I ‘baby sat’ some chickens once and accidentally broke an egg as I was collecting them. The chickens went CRAZY for it, fighting over who got to eat it until I managed to shove them out of the nest box and block them off so I could dispose of the egg! I have never seen anything like it. I could have understood distress or anger but they were ravenous beasts! Made me understand their dinosaur ancestors lol

@Lord Meezus Well, maybe don't use an ostrich egg. I've made eggs plenty of times. If you don't like your yolk runny, you should have tried to flip it once the bottom was suitably cooked. Cooking both sides for a certain amount of time cooks the yolk through, and while sometimes you can get an egg where the yolk is still a bit wet and soft, it isn't runny and its easier to eat that way. I've flipped eggs plenty of times.
