Mara is not to blame for signing Jones. Schoen said Jones played well enough in 2022 to deserve the contract. He never admitted he over payed Jones. Never admitted Jones only threw well in Vikings playoff game. Didn't allow Wilson to compete for QB1 for NFL min bc he thought Jones would play well. Evidence shows Schoen is to blame for paying Jones at Viking playoff level which he only repeated in Cardinals 2nd half and Seattle 2024.

Only time I disagree on this is with quarterback. Not just any qb mind you but if there’s a guy you really think could be something even if it’s a bit of a reach it’s worth taking. Other than that look at the eagles they just go bpa almost every pick and almost every pick hits

Why isn’t anyone bringing up Daboll head coaching flaws… and how the team is undisciplined, a ton of penalties every game, and making bone headed decisions with the personnel? Not just this year either, his 3 years since he’s been here. Even in his first year he showed some issues.

Was watching the Bears v Seahawks game and they discussed Chicago's HC opening. That franchise will do a complete 180 if they hire Pete Carroll or Mike Vrabel. Defensively they are damn good, offensive have many of the key weapons but lack an offensive line. Why in the world are the Giants deciding on Brian Daboll when you have a Super Bowl winner (Carroll) sitting out there and a guy like Vrabel who won a few as a player and ran a damn good ship in Tennessee?
