“Putin is a Head of State. Do you think that a head of State can just be arrested anywhere? How many crimes has your country committed in Iraq? How many crimes have everyone else who is so vocal today committed in Iraq and Afghanistan? Have you arrested them?” -ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula, South Africa, in response to a BBC reporter Russia has been FORCED into this conflict. They have every right to defend themselves against NATO. Weaker countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya cannot defend themselves from colonial and imperial aggression. To understand the present conflict between Ukraine and Russia, we need to understand history (Cuban missile crisis 1962 - Russia WITHDREW when it was told to do so by USA). Russia repeatedly instructed Ukraine that they should NOT join NATO, otherwise NATO is on the doorstep of Russia and therefore a threat to Russian Sovereignty. If Ukraine would have remained neutral, we would not see this crisis today. There are always 2 sides to every story. Unfortunately, the whole world is suffering. We just hope and pray that this does not lead to a Nuclear Armageddon.

Can we have a serious discussion about war? Mothers, fathers, babies, children, all types of innocent people die in war. They’re burned alive, crushed, tortured shot, disfigured, etc. The country, man, Congress, people who falsely prosecute a war should be punished especially if lies are used to prosecute such atrocities, as are always present in war. Our founders understood this, that’s why they required a vote to go to war. We are some very lucky people that Iraqis don’t want/can’t bring the war we brought to them, but in all truth it has the same flavor as what Putin did. I am sure they are justifying it to themselves just like we did, but that does absolutely nothing for the dead and devastated. Whatever we do, we should be consistent in our justice

Ukraine made a big mistake by giving up nuclear weapons in 1994 in Budapest Memorandum. If you look on Pakistan and India as soon they both got that weapon there is a peace. A big winner on this War is USA and other countries that support Ukraine and making Russia power weaker at low cost and also uncovered that Russia is not that strong as everyone thought. Ukrainians need fighter jets to destroy artillery. About 90% soldiers died on Ukrainian side because of that weapon.
