@DarkArachnid66610 ай бұрын
I'm around 10 years older than him, don't have diabetes, am natural, and have a very similar diet to him. Also, I'm not obese. How do you explain that? People always want to judge other people's diets without understanding why they eat the way they do. Me? My diet is based on the philosophy that the body is a machine. Now, assuming you are going for high performance, would you choose a.) a high density fuel that gets burned off VERRRY slowly, b.) a moderate density fuel that requires additional conversion steps to be burned off, or c.) a moderate density fuel that can be burned off quickly and efficiently? As you are answering this question, do keep in mind that context is important. Dumping alcohol fuel into a Honda Civic would probably not be very good for it. However, dumping the same fuel into an NHRA funny car would probably make it work better. Sugar is a LOT like alcohol fuel for humans. It's just that many people aren't properly "tuned" to use it effectively and those people should limit their sugar until they decide to start going to the gym regularly to get a tune up because doing otherwise could have disastrous (and, sometimes, life ending) results.

I know Sam gets a ton of support and a pass for being charming and simple, but his lifestyle is NOT at all doable nor inspiring for anyone that wants to be healthy fit. Not is only his body full on gear, but the fact that his diet is this terrible geez, it is honestly worrying, it's edge-close to being straight up worse than obesity.
@ABIGGLOCK Жыл бұрын
Coach, I stopped lifting heavy and mainly went to just light cardio/sports for about 2-3 years. Naturally, I lost a ton of strength and size. Is "muscle memory" a thing, and will I be able to quickly bounce back easier than the first go around?

If i had the funds i would 100% give Coach Greg's plan a go. Personally find the videos inspiring. I am slightly over weight these videos have kinda put a spring in my step. got a gym membership and just helped me start respecting my health and body a lot more. It is just the dieting I find extremely difficult to figure out and do. A little bit more research, and a lot more discipline and I might be able to get there... baby steps. Anyways, thanks Coach Greg :)

Don't over think it. Find some low cal thi gs to munch on while your hunger hits. Or coffee or zero calories drinks. Train hard every day. White rice with meat. Steak or chicken/ fish. Alternate. Your weight will fall off.

@jurlinquist Жыл бұрын
Just start brother. That's the hardest step. Don't go on an extreme diet and calorie deficit. Start by just being mindful of what your picking to eat, how much, and all around make the healthier choice. As far as work outs, just move, do SOMETHING that gets your body moving. You got this my guy! No one came into this wonderful world of fitness and health knowing it all, we all learn as we go. And most importantly, have patience! Nothing comes over night! Not even with an Amazon prime membership! Keep grinding!

I love all the hate/criticism Sam receives. He is a rolemodel for so many young guys and has a huge audience who he influences. His diet is awful and he is clearly abusing PEDS, he is an awful person to take advice from but his comment section is loaded with so many people who love this dude, lookup to him and want to be like him. It's actually scary, more dumb guys are gonna be taking Sarms and sadly pass.
@notoneofthosegirls Жыл бұрын
You love that they are mass hating on him? Weird. He didn’t ask to be their role model and he doesn’t force them to watch him, he also doesn’t advice his audience to do what he does. I wish people would actually sit and watch his videos instead of flocking and jumping on the hate train, just bcuz it’s a thing now.

As I'm sure you are aware, Sam is still a student. Now I don't know what your student life was like back in your days but sometimes studying all night until 2am is necessary to keep up your grades. Therefore, sleep is often cut short during the week resulting in waking up late on the weekends. And I say this as an highly achieving student and bodybuilder myself. You can't have everything perfect. Furthermore, I'm sure you are aware how hormones affect teenagers sleep schedule, so I'm not going to dive into that as you are most likely more educated on that field.

Hey Greg been following you for a few years now. Lost 50 pounds thanks to your advice and successfully kept it off. Been maingaining for approximately 1 year. Would like to do a mini cut (1-2 month cut). What is your best advice for this? Should i cut 500 calories all at once from my diet then reverse diet back to maintence? Or just increase cardio and keep calories the same? Currently 5'6" 150 pounds 2300 calories. Thanks
