I am Canadian and my dad was born as an Indian and studied in USA, yes if there is no experience, students struggle with jobs
@FEETOFKEELEY3 жыл бұрын
That fear of going back to India is real. You're absolutely right. Quite natural. Those who are coming to US to study or for work, specially from middle class families, NONE of them want to go back to India. I think it is true not only in case of Indians coming to US but also in case of Indians going to UK or Canada or Germany for example. Nothing in life is a joke to them. I'm myself from a middle class family and I can feel that constant fear and agony very well. It's a do or die situation. After spending huge amount of money in US education, if any student is unable to get H-1B visa in US and are forced to return to India or even in case of working professionals, if they somehow lose their jobs in US or fail to renew their H-1B visa and are forced to return to India, in both cases it will lead to mental breakdown and thus will ultimately lead to life risk. In that regard I think Trump was doing right by scrapping the lottery system in H-1B visas.That lottery system is the biggest source of fraud and abuse. It would have helped those who genuinely aspire to work and settle in US. Anyway thanks a lot, Professor for bringing these very genuine points. Let's see how Biden addresses these issues.

@Saksham Shukla but india is already a developed country according to many indians and these are the same indians who mock Pakistan and China. The problem with india is that it has a huge population and if they want to progress, then they have fix their own problems instead of running away to other countries.

I am tired of listening to this. I am not a motivational speaker. I try my best to be as close to the truth as possible. Whether the truth is perceived as positive or negative, is not of my concern. When I make the so called positive videos, people accuse me of trying to attract more students to the US so the universities here earn more from their fee. When I make the so called negative videos, I get accused of spreading negativity. My suggestion would be to see whether or not what I am saying is true and not worry about positive or negative.

@@DesiAmericanProfessor I don't think this is a negative video at all. All you are doing is presenting the facts. It feels good when we read quotes that Plan B is to execute Plan A.
