Yes it is definitely important for runners to cross train! It will prevent some injuries, but running is kinda rough on the body! Great work! So glad i can keep you busy while you recover!

HI Rebecca! Do you have any tips for keeping your form correct when doing the dead lifts? I"m not sure what I'm doing wrong but I just feel a little stretch in the hamstrings and a lot of tension in my lower back when I do those. Had a mirror set up so I could watch what I was doing and even had my boyfriend look at your form versus mine and I still don't feel it anywhere other than my lower back. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you~

You can definitely try that out! Just make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and cooling down after your finished to help with muscle recovery!

They will not get bulky with your own body weight but to further prevent this make sure you think belly button to spine during the work outs!

Another question..I have been eating healthy and exercising..I was 75kg and I weighed myself today after 7 weeks and I am 72kg... is that ok or am I not working hard enough

A pound a week is extremely reasonable, especially with you exercising. You've probably lost more pounds of fat than you realize--you're just building pounds of muscle to go with it, so it balances out a bit. :) Muscle is much leaner than fat, though, so you will still look smaller if you lose 3 kg of fat and replace it with 3 kg of muscle, for example. Good job!

Zovesta Storm hey thank you for the comment...but im very confused because i actually look really big and fat and my stomach looks big and bloated..my main goal is too look thinner so im doing hiit workouts 3-4 times a week and other days I do cardio and weights..so do you think that will make me look thinner? You might have a lot of water weight that is making you bloated. Are you drinking at least 3 liters of water a day? Your body might be retaining what water you have left because you're sweating out so much. This will definitely burn calories and make you stronger, but the most effective way to lose fat is simply diet. Try keeping track of your calories. :) I've been doing Rebecca's videos roughly every other day (or every day when I'm motivated), increasing the weights used, and cut my calories back to 1300. I've lost 11 lbs (or about 5 kg) in about two months and look noticeably smaller, so I'd say you're in the right direction--just watch those calories and make sure you're filling your body with good nutrients! You'll only build up "bulky" muscles if you're eating excessive calories and lots of protein (protein should not be avoided, though! It's good for fat loss, too).

Zovesta Storm thanks...yes my family has noticed I look bit more thinner then before so I must be doing something right..as a vegetarian I eat more lentils and beans and on weekends I eat more salads..I do have boiled eggs also..I drink lots of water (love itt)...however I dont count my calories because im not sure how to and because I make curries so I dont know how many calories are in there...but I have certainly cut down my portion size and I completely stay away from junk food..I have deciede to eat a small piece of chocolate just once a month and I dont crave fast food anymore also...just hoping one day I will look thinner then what I am..I have learnt to be patient with myself and I know everyone looses weight at different paces so dont get upset if im loosing weight abit slower then others...thanks
