I love how the old fashioned cardigan is turning out and the yarn you're using is such a beautiful shade of red, what a perfect combo ❤ I don't think you should add pockets though

Max you're just trying to make patterns knitter friendly for beginners and advanced stitchers. Nothing lazy about it, less frustrating for newbies to colorwork. I have a neck lamp for night time knitting or working with dark yarns. Finished my red wine, now to hemp infused lemonade. 😊❤

That made me happy cry when you mentioned heart stopper. Our family is absolutely diverse and we would just cheer and laugh and sigh at these. Ya know Max, with your steam deck you can run emudeck and emulate almost anything…so fun! Also, JRPGs: Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles, Kingdom Hearts, Xenogears. Heartstoppers graphic novels are so touching and beautiful and sweet. Can’t wait for #5! Edited to add: knitting and such - all so beautiful! ❤

yesss, another slow horses fan, here, such great acting, Gary Oldman was brilliant. Love the old fashioned cardy, it must have pockets, would they work with fingering to match the band,, maybe do them in plain st st to add a different texture/feature.

Always inspiring ❤ Pockets in an 'old fashioned' or not... when you put it on, I thought, you could make it short without pockets - if longer, with...? It looked nice as a short 'fitted' cardigan. My truth is, I always miss the pockets, if I'm too lazy to make them... so I think, I would incl pockets... I think my choice for basecolour for the Interference would have more colour, like a gold green or a midtoned teal, if I had to choose 🤷‍♀️ not as suave as your picks...

If you are going for The pocjets, you Can Knit The pocketbag in a thinner yarn. That works for me, so it won’t get so “bulky”

Yes to pockets on old fashioned. If you do set in pockets. Not patch the lining would be inside and you could use fingering and smaller needles and it won’t add so much bulk. You will need to increase the stitch count once starting the lining. I generally will put an icord edge to the pocket opening. Gorgeous show!! I will be purchasing the interference sweater, may try to have it done for Wool and Folk for husband

yes to pockets! to reduce the bulk, how about using fabric for the interior? in my Sparky, i used some old silk t-shirt for the inside of the pocket [i hand sewed it to the sweater]. ...totally agree about contiguous shoulders--amazing fit! looking forward to seeing your little black sweater--great idea!

You learn stuff in the episodes that are not in the books; I'm wondering if they are spoilers or just adapted content. I'll keep reading to make sure it doesn't happen again! Season 1 was pretty much the same as the book, but season 2 was much more "different". The book was better, in my opinion!

Love your new sweater, Max!! Have you tried Fire Emblem, 3 houses? It’s got character development like Persona and where your choices have consequences. There’s some combat but it’s more strategic, not bashing stuff. My son who loves Persona loves Fire Emblem too. It’s the game that got me to buy a Switch for myself, lol😂 I also love Pikmon there the combat is…weird, haha! For the 🥬 I think no pockets or yes but use thinner yarn & make them big. Max, I can not tell you how much I appreciate taking away the drop shoulder from the tessellated sweater pattern. I’m 68. I do not look good in drop shoulders. I’m thin and like showing that I still have a nice body. I don’t like looking frumpy, it makes me feel old. When the shoulder is falling down and getting close to your elbows it looks very sloppy to me. I like a contiguous set in sleeve or a tab shoulder. The coco knits method is great too. I’m anal about fit and structure because having the structure on the shoulder I get a sweater that will last longer and doesn’t misshapen like so many sweaters without that attention to them. Sadly, they stretch out, wear out, and don’t get worn anymore so all those hours and all that money on good yarns goes to waste. Do you do W&T’s or GSR’s/double stitch short rows? What pattern of yours fits into my desires? Or can you suggest how I alter a pattern I like and make it more fitted like you are doing. I think your designs look fabulous on you both the fit is always impeccable. I also love your yarn colors and adorable pins. Sorry so long but I typically watch and don’t ask questions. I hope you’ll forgive me.
