I totally get this. In the Philippines, we have ketchup made from bananas. We have a lot of similarities with Indian/Hindu cuisine (although many of us have forgotten) too; and, my Cameroonian husband and I make a tomato stew that we love having with fried plantain.

Hey great video not trying to be annoying but for the grape tomato slicing hack (love to see it) it’s better to use the ridged side of the lid with the protruding edge of the lid facing inwards towards the tomatoes. This way it naturally guides the blade more closely to the center and is better for holding the tomatoes inside the circle of the lid. Used it for years working in kitchens - cheers and keep up the awesome work! Great recipes and videos

Speaking of Brazilian recipes and fried bananas, you should try one called Cartola, a typical recipe from Pernambuco. Fried bananas + cheese (usually one called Queijo Manteiga, but Mozzarella will do, although it won’t be as good) + sugar + cinnamon. By the way, that kind of banana shown on the video, which is the most common type imported in the northern hemisphere, tastes quite bad. Other varieties taste so much better than that.
