Gary, you are nothing short of a God-send. I was initially scared into faith by "hell fire" talk. As a Christian who couldn't reconcile with this notion of "hatred", I gave up for a while. You have *inspired* me to follow. I follow the teachings of Christ now, not for some fear of hell, but because it is such a beautiful message. Thank you, life is so much better knowing Jesus Christ is a King, not a tyrant.

Thank you DuWayne. I also have found that those who have come to see Universal Salvation through Jesus Christ have done their homework, not only in deep Bible study but digging deeply into the heart of God. Between Hell, Annihilation and Universal Salvation which one resonates with the heart that says, "Love your enemies?" It's obvious, isn't it? peace, Gary

Through sheer hatred, Hitler killed more than six million Jews in cold blood. Hitler also killed so many of his own people, those who did not go along with his decree. A strong message to Adolf Hitler, and his wicked SS henchmen. V 1Jo 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1Jo 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1Jo 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 1Jo 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. 1Jo 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 1Jo 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?1Pe 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?1Pe 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.Act 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.Act 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.Act 3:24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.Act 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.Act 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. Jhn 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.Jhn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. 2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 1Pe 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 1Pe 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.1Th 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,1Th 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Hitler believed in the God of Lutheranism. Stop judging what you don’t have revelation of. Hitler was an Austrian Jew. Bad theology makes Dictators. Believing in an Angry vengeful God makes you afraid, fear leads to hatred of the OTHER! Jews were persecuted in Europe by “Christian’s” for eons. Luther turned against the Jews later in his life, when he couldn’t convert them to Christ or his idea of Christianity.Christianity Isn’t a religion it’s a person, it’s Jesus. Sheol is found in the Bible sixty-five times. It is translated “the pit” three times, “the grave” thirty-one times, and “hell” thirty-one times. Hades is used eleven times, being rendered “hell” ten times and “grave” once. Adding to the confusion is that two other words are also translated hell in the New Testament. These are Tartarus, which is found once and Gehenna, which is used twelve times. Jesus paid my sin debt in full. I can not go to hell if I wanted to. I have no sins to pay for. First Corinthians 15:3-4 and First John 2:2. Christ died for my sins. Grace. He took the punishment I deserve so I would not have to go to hell to pay for my sins. And we all sin, First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive our selves and the truth is not in us. The doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment causes mental illness in its believers. They're sick. Jesus died on Calvary to reveal who the real TRUE FATHER is and that is LOVE- 1Joh 4:8. A loving God would never torture billions of people for eternity nor does He ever say He will in our Bible. This is man's misinterpretation of scripture and man's church tradition which must scare people into attending services and paying tithes which is also unbiblical. Once we learn how to identify mistranslated text in the popular KJV Bible (over 20,000) and how to divide Scripture properly, attributing what was meant for the nation of Israel and what was given to the apostle Paul for today's believer, the truth becomes crystal clear. But... if we mix doctrine and apply to Christians what was meant for the Jews, we see nothing but contradictions in our Bible. Salvation is now a free gift from God and there is nothing we can do or should do to receive it. Jesus did it all on the cross and all we need do is believe. If we attempt to gain our own salvation through works, we're simply saying that what Jesus did wasn't good enough and we need to add something to His sacrifice. When we believe in this manner, we make void the power of the cross. We need to stop judaising our Gospel given to the apostle Paul and start following the doctrine of our dispensation described in Romans - Philemon. If we reject Christ and His free gift of salvation, we are separated from God for the age by our choice along with 'everything' antichrist and NOT eternally tortured. That would be contrary to what a loving God had planned for all mankind. Can you really imagine our God torturing one of your family members for all eternity? No! - this would be vindictive and not just. Remember... the wages of sin is death, not eternal torment. Once we learn how and why the KJV Bible wrongly translates and applies the words aionion, Sheol, and Gehenna we realize why we can abandon our belief that God could possibly lose the overwhelming majority of His creation to an Adversary that eternally tortures them which is not only unbiblical - it is ridiculous. Sadly, we created a god in our image (barbaric, judicial, cruel, mean, hatred but at the same time suppose to be all loving) and not the other way around. Eternal damnation and eternal death (annihilation) is all a lie. -Psalm 103:10-12-He removed our transgressions from us.

What about the sheep and the goats, and Paul's teaching vessels for wrath and destruction, and vessels for mercy, what about the elect many times talked about, what about warnings falling away, there is a constant division mentioned through out most of the books of the bible, one person will be taken the other left behind.

I used to believe in hell...I don't anymore...I can't even believe I am saying this but I can no longer believe based on the facts I have. When I tell people about the really good news...I have 2 main questions come up..."Then why bother preaching the gospel" and "why bother trying to do 'good'"? Well...If you are preaching the good news or trying to do good then you are not doing it from the right motives in the first place. I think a lot of evangelists preach not just because they think people will burn if they don't but because they think THEY will if they don't. If you are not doing good because of LOVE and because you purely want to out of freewill then don't even bother trying now...Because even if you believe in hell all those works will not be counted towards you unless it's not born from pure motive free love in the first place.

Thank you for this, Gary. I have long struggled with the concept of hell and, quite frankly, have dreaded and feared that I will end up there despite my faith and my trying to do more good than bad. I have long been concerned that because I don't have the right theology and all the right beliefs according to some Christians out there, or because I may not be able to reduce or avoid sin enough, or because I don't condemn all the same things as sinful as some Christians do, and because of that, it has either been implied or outright declared to me that I will be heading for hell upon death. To learn of these things and that they have a basis in history and even in Church Fathers such as Origen is an unreal relief and bringer of hope for me. Although I'm not exactly entirely past the hell spiel, and I still have some fear and worry about it, this DOES help me. Thank you.

Thank you for your effort. There are so many interpretations that can be made but certainly the idea of God sending people to eternal torment is not a God of love. They would say we feel its unjustified because our understanding is not of God's but that's just an excuse to me. If eternal torment were to be true, the pain Jesus went through would be little compared to that of the 'damned'

No, our brain is still active like a dream or hallucination, and there are powerful spiritual beings that can just as easily prey on that and deceive anyone who does not know all these wonderful truths that God is the savior of all and "Hell" being nothing more than a fiction. These lying spirits have taught people like Howard Storm and others another Gospel, which is not from God, is it not The Good News.

The late preacher John Paul Jackson speaks on how the Ling James mistranslated power (Greek word dunamis) and authority (Greek word exousia) about 50% of the time. This is key. Why? Because we need to know what we are doing regarding spiritual warfare. Most churches have failed greatly in teaching these things. There is a difference between the two. It is helpful to watch Katie Souza. Why should we preach the good news? That all are saved? So people KNOW the father loves them!! And wants relationship. Wants us to learn to live in His blessings. Learn how to operate effectively in the 9 keys to the Kingdom. (The Kingdom....here....here on earth) John Paul Jackson goes over this too. We are called to set the captives free.....what does that mean? .....set them free from demonic grip!! That causes strife and addiction.....divorces....broken families.....broken people. What a horrid thing for people to hear that if they don't follow some set of rules.....they are doomed. Many already feel bad enough. No wonder there is such backlash against Christianity. People aren't turning from that!! They turn away from pompous....SELF-RIGHTOUS Christians. The Holier than thou crowd. God doesn't want us to sin....because it hurts us and hurts others. Check out verse....1 Cor. 6:9-11. Look at this in a new light. These people are not going to inherit the kingdom of God. What kingdom?? ....the kingdom here....now....on earth now!! They won't be operating in the flow of the true Holy Spirit and the true supernatural gifts.

I’m trying to hold on to universal reconciliation, Gary. I really am. I went through Bible college holding on to it and even wrote two lengthy papers on Origen. But it seems that sin and repentance are taboos and the tendency to treat sin even in our own lives as non-existent has really hampered my walk. Maybe the fault is my own, but I saw sin being taken too lightly and its consequences being ignored. I’d also like to add that Dr. Stephen Jones has some interesting points to add to this under the title, “Universalism vs. Restorationism”. He reaffirms the law of love written in our hearts at the new birth and the place / purpose of restorative judgment. Currently involved in a study on hell...

@@onetwo916 Jesus paid my sin debt in full.

This is how I see it. When any one dies good or evil their body and soul dies.Body-Our shell with our spirit and soul.Soul- Our memories and personality. Spirit- Our conscious/energy body-The part of us that can never die because it came from Gods life force. God breathed the spirit into the man. The term "for ever," as used in the Bible, means simply a period of time, limited or unlimited. It is used 56 times in the Bible in connection with things that have already ended. It is like the word "tall," which means something different in describing men, trees, or mountains. In Jonah 2:6, "for ever" means "three days and nights." I think where many get confused about the spirit world is that they seem to think people behave the same way as they did on earth in there physical bodies as they will when they are only a spirit. They do not behave the same infact they are not the same kind of person when they are only a spirit. There are also people that say they saw fairy land. Just because someone says they saw it does not make it real. It could be a vision, dream or a hallucination. All can seem real when they are not. Just believing someone that says they say hell, is what is foolish. After studying many cases where they say they saw hell, I have found that they have many contradictions. There stories do not calibrate and there are many inconsistencies. I have never seen a case where they claim they saw hell and there were not contradictions. I know what they are experiencing and it is not really hell. In one of the discovered Dead Sea Scrolls, a verse which in the traditional Masoritic read “fear the Lord” was found to read “LOVE the Lord.” The scroll is named 4Qdeutn, and is over a thousand years older than the Masoritic texts that have traditionally been relied on as the source for the Old Testament text. Sounds to me like some one wants to spead fear. Jer. 8/8 tells us about the lying pen of the scripes indicating the lies they put in the manuscripts of the bible to fit their agenda

Gary, do you claim John 3:16 in the KJV is a mistranslation? Yes, God so loved the world that He gave Christ. Does this passage tell us that whosoever does not believe in Him shall not perish? No, it states the exact opposite in no uncertain terms. Do brothers and sisters who have sacrificed a lifetime on the mission field in hostile and violent cultures in agreement that all shall be eventually saved? Please, I respectfully ask you, where is the sense of compassion and urgency to preach the Gospel that there is hell, albeit not eternal, to shun and everlasting heaven with the One Beautiful God to gain?

Allow me to answer that question. No one of the Christian faith would deny that Christianity is a path to happiness because it is a path according to Christians to a relationship with the one true God. If those are the missionaries saw that the people outside the loving Grace of God live in a miserable life of sin and suffering why wouldn't they risk life and limb to help those (however a few they may be) find a relationship with the creator? The problem is that modern Christianity is overly upset asked with the afterlife for early Christians Christianity was just as much a religion of the here and now as it was of the world to come. If anything then continuing in their efforts in spite of the knowledge of universal salvation makes them even more compassionate because they could've just as easily sat back and let God sort it out later, they could've lived a comfortable life with the knowledge that they knew God.

+Sako Gekchyan You, my friend, seem to miss the over-arching purpose for their outreach. Their main mission, their prime passion is to divert souls from the suffering of hell that they, too, glorify God as their Saviour from sin, self and Satan, and that not temporily, but through endless ages. Praise God! Certainly Christians are to be compassionate. *_"If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth" (Col. 3:1-2)._*

I learned what I know mostly from you and other resources such as the Greek concordances and my own grandmother who speaks Greek has verified much of this. I've always found eastern Christianity be a lot more spiritual and less legalistic then in the west.

Jiaxiang Wang, I'd like to know what you learned about Origen's apparent theological blend with Gnosticism, particularly that he affirmed the preexistence of rational beings. Michael McClymond delivers a rather devastating critique of universalism by tieing its emergence to Alexandrian Gnosticism and a persistent believe in preexistence. I've been rather shaken by it. He also pointed by name to a few Church Fathers earlier than Clement (1st and 2nd century) who he says upheld an everlasting hell for unbelievers.

Yes but you must understand that there were different camps of universalism and the gnostics we're actually more hellish them regular Christians. The gnostic gospel of peter describes the torments of those in hell in graphic detail. Some Christian universalists were influenced by Hellenism and Greek ideas but this is not where they got their doctrine of universal salvation, The Hellenistic influences simply colored their understanding of how this would be achieved such as belief in the preexistence of souls and reincarnation.

There is not one verse in the Bible alone that can be an argument for universal salvation, rather you have to examine the Bible in its entirety it to see the truth in this doctrine. Even if as you say there were church fathers before Clement who believed in ternal damnation I encourage you to investigate whether or not those church fathers were Jewish or not. If they were Greek or Roman this will give you a clue into the origin of their beliefs because hell is pagan in Oregon. We noticed because there is no mention of such a place in the Hebrew Scriptures and normative Judaism to this day does not believe in it. Well there were a few obscure sects with in Judaism that did teach of a fiery punishment for the wicked, these groups were heavily influenced by The various pagan mythologies they came in contact with in Babylon, this is why their writings did not make it into the canon of the Hebrew Scriptures. They were consigned to the apocrypha.

Remember, God is the creator of evil and uses this evil for His own purpose, just as He did with Pharaoh, Judas and many other "evil" people in the Bible. Yes, Hitler too, was used for God's purpose and he too - is saved by the blood of Jesus. Jesus is victorious and will lose no man to the Adversary. We're ALL sinners (missing the mark) and only judge sinners like Hitler by a degree as compared to how we judge ourselves. Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. Romans: For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus) the many will be made righteous. The Law was given so that the trespass would increase; but where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness, to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.…

Hitler...why WOULDN'T he be saved. To be consistent, one must include all persons. On this note, I wonder what is to become of the fallen angels, including lucifer. Also, not that I'm one to judge---not by far---but it strikes me as a shameful blot on the church leadership of the past and present who teach the doctrine of eternal damnation, when abundant lingual and theological evidence of the character of YHWH and Yeshua and the words of the original biblical text point to the necessity of---at the very least---being very cautious with respect to the hell doctrine, if not indeed agnostic toward it, or more informedly, against it.

Your are correct. Even Satan himself and all demons will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is lord before he is thrown into the lake of fire, into his eternal punishment. All humans who have not bowed and obey Jesus in this life before they are cast into Hell will also confess that Jesus Christ is lord to the glory of the father. The lords will is always accomplished regardless of the foolish ideas and opinions of men.

+tentmaker777 Universalism for all its multiplying words without wisdom attempts to bypass the suffering sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ and thereby abjectly fails to give Him the glory. Where is the Holy Spirit compassion and sense of urgency to pray and preach the saving work of Christ and His cross for lost souls, and to live right today and every day if every one shall eventually be saved? Why was the apostle Paul subjected to the suffering he sustained in his calling by God and his missionary labor if salvation is universal? Unlike Christian martyrs raped, crucified and beheaded daily the teachers of universalism deny Christ and the cross. Instead of motivating to holiness their message comprises compromise. They tickle itching ears with a false and foolish gospel; theirs are fables. *_"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God" (1 Cor. _**_1:18_**_)._* Universalism is utter foolishness, void of power except to deceive and deny the cross of Christ. *_"Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.) 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ" Phil. _**_3:17_**_-20_* *_Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew _**_16:24_**_)._* Universalists mock this command of Christ for they proclaim without shame that everyone will be saved anyway. This is not at all that which our Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles so strongly set forth in Scripture.

This is an older video but newcomers to it need to understand. I agree with this man as far as his view on eternal torment but the other scriptures of the new testament from the words of Jesus Himself said that not all that say "lord lord" will enter into life. This is apparently during the judgement. I cannot give all scripture in a comment but it is made clear that most will be turned away from eternal life I would love to agree that all will be joined with Christ and God in the Kingdom but Jesus said differently. He said that only those who keep the Father's commandments would enter in. This man quotes only the scriptures that seem to say that ALL will be united with God in the end. What about the other scriptures that say the unjust will be cast into the lake of fire along with Satan ? Or the Old testament prophesies that say the soul that sins, it shall die ? I cannot believe anything other than total annihilation of the wicked. But ONLY because the bible teaches this throughout the bible. No ! Not all that live and die will be included in the Kingdom, or eternal life. But I do agree that God will NOT torture His creatures forever. But as Christ said, " Broad is the way that leads to DESTRUCTION and strait is the way and narrow the gate that leads to life and FEW their be that find it ". It's life or death. And the book of Revelation say's that the lake of fire is the "second death" ! How much clearer can scripture be ?

There will be two class of people when Almighty God comes, those people with the seal of God, and those people with the mark of the beast. The plagues of Egypt back once more. GOD'S PEOPLE. V Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Rev 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Rev 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. SATAN'S PEOPLE. V Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

How strong is the desire of satan to avoid his eternal payment in the lake of fire “Has God indeed said?"Gen 3: 1 satan keeps going with his lies and his biggest lie is to make you think that God's Word the Holy Bible is corrupt. 39:44-This man claim that God the Father revealed to him PERSONALLY that he(Gary) is God's son and that is a complete lie because God the Father reveals Himself in His Son Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ can reveal the Father: All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. Matthew 11: 27 Read the Bible please!

So let’s keep on sinning that grace may abound. It doesn’t matter what a bunch of philosophers think. God chose the city dump metaphor to teach complete destruction. Mark 9:44-48 King James Version 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

That is said to the ones already given the Holy Spirit for the ones without the Holy Spirit are flesh. And according to God flesh can not choose life. God bless 🙌

So basically according to what u seem to be saying the only reason you try not to sin is to get out of hell not out of love for Jesus or appreciation of what he did for u on the cross no u wanna sin you just wanna stay out of hell more so my advice is yeah you should keep sinning because that attitude towards Jesus is worse than any sin your flesh could commit

That’s like the worse straw man and childish arguments and I hear it from Protestants all the time oh well why be a Christian if everyone goes to heaven anyway umm idk maybe so u can have a relationship with God now on earth that’s the kinda thinking that leads people to looting and robbing during hurricanes because they think there’s no rules or consequences so they can do what they want but as soon as marshal law is lifted there back to being a good person no sir your still a bad person at heart

Wrong, the first verse you cite is Rev. 20:10. I would argue that the English translation of the Greek is some what wrong on two accounts: "torment" (βασανισθήσονται) and "for ever and ever" (τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων). Of course, βασανισθήσονται (basanisthesontai) CAN mean "torment" but it also means "they shall be examined by a touchstone" (refinement). τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων (tous aiōnas tōn aiōnōn) literally means "unto the ages of ages."

Thank you my friend. The lord keep you. Sadly many believe this lie. The scripture clearly teaches Hell is created as a place of eternal torment. Satans crimes are so horrific. He will not be disintegrated along with all humanity that will not bow the knee to Jesus nor obey his commandments. Of course my opinion means nothing. The standard you and I both follow is the word of God. The consequences of our sin we cannot know fully, it is like ripples that have effect and consequences.

So, by the literal translations from the Greek to English, we can see that "tormented day and night forever and ever" becomes "examined [or vexed] by a touchstone day and night unto the ages of ages." Note that "the ages of ages" is also more correct because "αἰῶνας" and "αἰώνων" are grammatically plural in the Greek. It would have to be "the forevers and evers" to be true to the text, but that wouldn't be good ("nice") English. The implications are very different when read in the literal way.

I believe in the universal salvation of all, but be biblical...God did NOT ever die. Jesus died, the son OF GOD, he is and always was a man. Never say God died for us. God is immortal

What did Jesus mean when He said, "Before Abraham was, I am." "Or in the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the word was God..." Who is the Word? Can't get into a long discussion here because it's only comments section, but thought I'd through out the verses.
