I love how each group in the Solo series adds their own “atmosphere” to the channel while still maintaining the incredibly high standards of videography and story telling of the channel.

It's a new approach, but I like it. Great views, great people, nice slant on the exploration journey that is of course, not only for a select few.

Here I am trying to move to Bozeman from Oahu to watch my daughter to grow up and go explore Montana every weekend. I’m praying everything will work out. I missed 4 years all of her life . Face timing is amazing. Time to make it permanent

Thanks for this amazing series! Took about 9 guys on an epic motorcycle trip back in '17 that included a trek over the Beartooth Pass and into Red Lodge, Montana. We started in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and traveled almost 2,000 over 7 days.

Appreciate seeing some of the tight maneuvering with a trailer. Still trying to decide on whether I want a trailer or not, and these kinds of videos help me understand what I'd be getting myself into.

That last hair pin with the snow was super sketch, but he stuck the landing like a pro! I never thought of using the Pitch/Roll indicator to check for vehicle level, brilliant!

That part of Meeteetse Trail is a really easy drive; only a few minuets of driving. Hellroaring would be pretty nerve-wracking in a full sized vehicle.

Definitely different terrain to what you’d be getting if you made it to Australia. The highest peak here is 2,228 metres or 7,309ft. No bears to worry about though.

I'm new to overlanding, can you tell me what the tire pressure was on the hellroaring trail?
@ExpeditionOverland3 жыл бұрын
No problem! It really depends on your vehicle and it's weight. There is no 'one tire pressure fits all'. If your looking for a bit more traction, we find that a good range is around 25lbs or even 30lbs with a heavier vehicle. Check out our website blog section at xoverland.com for a lot of articles with education and information. Good luck!

can someone please explain to me, why do they need to level up the truck every time when setting up the camp?
@hollowayinn4 жыл бұрын
Sleeping level is more ideal. As well as the water tank is level.
@ExpeditionOverland4 жыл бұрын
@hollowayinn is right! They are leveling the roof top tent and it helps to have the water tank level as well.

RecoilOperated we are Mexican Americans and own our own wood fired pizza restaurant in California. We are avid campers, renovate vintage airstreams, and have just recently fallen in love with overlanding. With COVID, our usual camp spots have been overran with new campers...I actually like that fact because it means more people are getting outdoors. We found this overlanding way of venturing out very appealing. As we’ve explored I’m saddened to see everyone out there look the same. I try to post what I can to encourage more POC to get out there. I have a small platform. Would love to see more of these big channels with loads of sponsorship show that this life is welcoming of all walks. I don’t see that. Yes, white lives matter. Absolutely. I don’t buy into the BLM movement, but what a missed opportunity. This is just another vanilla production. Boring and the same.
@stayathomegypsy50784 жыл бұрын
Wanderlust I agree.
@angelicadickson86664 жыл бұрын
@@stayathomegypsy5078 Are you trying to force black people to go camping? How about you let them decide if they would like camping. This is a free country and who ever wants to go can go and who ever want to participate in another activity can. Just because you like something does not mean that other people will.
