GOW 3 is my personal favorite of the trilogy. Tho I don't blame people for liking 2 better, they're very close. You can now swap weapons with your squad by aiming in front of them.

Man commenting a month late so you might not even see it but a little thing about Jace he was actually in gears of war 2 during the hollow when his squad touches down he contacts Marcus as he’s leading alpha 7 I believe as he says Jace Stratton out

Yeah Badass Anya is super great in this Also the X prompt you saw was probably when you go up to the other characters in this. You can switch your current weapon for one of theirs which could be useful to remember. I forget if they trade ammo with you if you try to trade the same weapon or I'm thinking of the co-op version

One of my least favorite changes to Gears between 2 and 3 was how ammo boxes don't reload all the same weapons that they did in 1 and 2... even when you find a big box. The ammo shortage is deliberate - as noted in Bairds note, you can't just send a rookie down to the hardware [or in this case "freedom"] store and pick up supplies.

You should engage FPS Boost in the console additional settings for this game to get 60fps. Otherwise, great vid!

Little tip to this game, dont pick amo if you arent lower than half of the ammo, because this game, is punnising about that, but rewards you if you seach about secret areas, they gave you power full weapons, and always go with long distance weapons is better most of the time

Way more polished at this point in the series. These were the best visuals squeezed out of the Xbox 360. And out of Unreal Engine 3. All downhill after this game though. The Coalition took over the series and ran it right into the ground. Lots of hope that E-Day is a big turnaround for them and the franchise. Take us back to the early days. 🤞🏻 And after that, hopefully we get the long rumored Fenix Collection.
