I absolutely love the video. It is very helpful thank you! I do have two questions! 1. Is the helmet still flex able? If so how do you stiffen it? 2. With it being fully enclosed, Is there a way to add small air holes into it so you won't sweat so much! Like around the ears, forehead, and the top of your head! I thought about using and making small suing needle holes hidden in the semis to at least get some air!
@Heroesworkshop4 жыл бұрын
It’s foam so I wouldn’t strengthen it. You want it to be fitted and still be able to slide on and off easily. It’ll be tough if it’s rigid. So I don’t do that. You can make air holes some where If you want

Stealth, after seeing the awesome job you did in this video I'm convinced you'd be THE guy to cosplay as DC Comics' The Guardian (Google image search the "New 52 version"). I would love to know how to scale parts which are separate files (ears and eyes) for my Springbonnie cosplay but I can't find anywhere online for the information needed with only head width. So I came here looking for answers, I hope that you can help
@Heroesworkshop9 ай бұрын
I explain how to scale parts using "Measure distance between two points" that'll give you a real world scale of the Length or width of any area of the model.

Do you have the file for the master chief armor at 8:55?

How do you modify the paper template and make it suitable for foam? For example, the side panel on the helmet would typically be a bunch of separate pieces or look like a squid, yet your template has it as one piece. Is there a foam setting that I'm missing?

If you watch the entire video and see how it’s built, it’s easy to reverse engineer and grasp what I did. I have no clue how to explain what you’re asking in this box. Sorry.

How do you scale your arm for the software? I made my forearm for the doomslayer way too big.

When I downloaded the unicorn gundam cosplay which I am making for Halloween, when I put it in pepakura, I got freaked out when I putted the full part of the head instead of part 1, part 2, etc. and shows me flaps when I putted it in. How do I fix the full version of the body parts because this has been happening with all the full parts of the body + weapons (sorry for my English, it’s a bit bad)
@Heroesworkshop3 ай бұрын
Are you a beginner at this? The Gundam unicorn was listed as an advanced pepakura file due to its complexity. You need to start with something more simpler before you tackle something like this. This project will probably take months to complete. It’s just the honest truth.

im newer to cosplay and pepakura, and I've got a halo jorge helmet template, but one of the pieces doesn't look possible to do in foam like the seller said when I bought the template. What are your suggestions?
@Heroesworkshop3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure where you got your file from but sometimes you have to be creative with foam and make parts work in some way. I created this whole Pepakura to foam building system. So it was never meant for foam building but I made it work. So you can’t really limit yourself to the template. It’s not building by numbers like the program is designed for with paper. I apologize if that’s not much of an answer but It really is about being creative and modifying when you need to.
@cameronlanning21943 жыл бұрын
@@Heroesworkshop makes sense. I'll probably cut the piece into 3 sections to make it work better

Is there anything like pepakura on Mac?
@Heroesworkshop4 жыл бұрын
It’s for PC only. You’ll have to run a virtual machine on your Mac and run Windows to use Pepakura on Mac. You’ll have to look up how to do that.
