@Dragon2288332 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. It’s possible to do but would probably cost exponentially more because of all the custom stuff you’d need to fit everything together. Plus it would be extremely complicated to fix if anything goes wrong. On top of that you probably wouldn’t see too much of a performance gain as the 2 systems would just be filling in the cracks for each other and not adding an extreme amount of boost everywhere unless you want to blow your motor

For all the people asking this is basically a cross between a turbo and a twin screw supercharger, this HKS kit is a centrifugal SC which means it builds boost with the RPMs basically like a turbo but with instant power response. The HKS V3 SC kit starts off with around 6 psi at around 2500rpm and anything above 5000rpm it is 14 psi. You can use the pulley upgrade kit which will produce more boost if you want. I’m about to get it installed in the next couple of months and gonna push 260 - 280rwkw (350-375hp) at the wheels on stock internals.

The Perrin intake gives the HKS SC the perfect sound in my opinion. Only downside is you have to modify it cuz the damn intercooler gets in the way and the front bumper has to come off to clean the filter. But its a true CAI with good flow.

@RitztheDJ4 жыл бұрын
Gary Barton you can do that w a turbo too. A turbo would probably be more reliable anyways bc the engines not always taking boost
@toddgribble41214 жыл бұрын
Ethan de Groot Sorry but you are wrong. The engine is not always taking boost. That’s what the bypass valve is for. It works the same way as a turbo’s blow off valve. When the throttle body closes, the bypass valve opens and reroutes the pressurized air from the manifold side of the supercharger to the filter side. Everything is regulated. You shouldn’t make misinformed comments if you don’t understand. It confuses people. No offense, just speaking truth and clearing that up for you.
