@11:39 That's my favorite part. *Sweeeeeeeet* I love people's reactions when filming. Cool stuff Thank you for all the updates of what's going on out there. Hurricanes are no joke. I was in bay saint louis, Ms in a big one and i've actually had to take a step back from watching footage about this one. You are gentle about it. I can handle it this way.Thank you. It really does take a minute. Some things will never be the same. It's just how it is now. But recovering together through something like this is amazing. It's awful but it's amazing at the same time. I have a hard time not wanting to remind people to pay attention locally. Money and funding is needed to restore and repair and clean up. But not everybody who offers has good intentions. It seems after bigK, they got missed through all of the wonderful recovery work people were doing together? Maybe? I hope it's okay that I commented this. It's hard to be around it without wanting to share what I wish we knew, & i still dont undertand it. The mess- It's hard to watch. It's really hard to be helpless, not really being able to help. But it is amazing what people can do.

Thanks for the videos, and for your honest thoughts. Prayers for everyone affected by the storm. Stay safe. That's more important than a video.

NOW WAY! I was a career Fire Captain/Paramedic for 30 + years. Retired almost seven years ago! Thank You Chief for your many years of service. I also agree with you. Many who make it to the top forget about where they came from and what the boots on the ground are experiencing. 👍🙏🔥💪💪🇺🇸

I am horrified of what has happened. It makes me tear up. I was in chimney rock village on May 8th when a huge hail storm hit with my school and again on June 16th going to summer camp. We stopped in chimney rock village for lunch than and they were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I’m heartbroken of the tragedies that happened in WNC. Wishing you prayers Kyle along with the rest of WNC and North East SC.

Kyle documented the last trains on the Blue Ridge Subdivision before the storm destroyed the line in various spots. It will be a long time till we would see some big trains at Moodytown

Hopefully you came through the storm with little or no damage? I heard there is another possible storm that may form in the Gulf later next week? Great video as usual, stay safe out there!

A huge percentage of the S line west of Ashville has lost bridges, missing track.. wash outs and so on. That will be millions in repairs *if* NS decides it is worth it... Sad images out of TN, NC, and SC.

Research the CSX coal train that ran away on the sandpatch grade in a horrendous snow storm 20 years ago derailing 113 cars, many sold their stock and that today is why the stock and it’s dividend struggles …. The post WW11 era railroaders and knowledge is now gone …NS went into shutdown mode, csx did not and yes the ex-military iron fisted method continues to carry its struggles …I could go on and on and with that good day …

Thanks for braving the elements. Stay indoors if it gets worse; we can live without a video, stay safe. 43 years of railroad service and I never missed a day due to weather. Switching cars in fanny deep snow, beer in one hand and the lantern in the other; my, but aren't we having fun!🤣😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝ It's all about money and the revenue lost when freight doesn't operate.
