I literally just went through a very similar setup with a turbo car that I built that had a terrible VE table, had no cam lope at idle, and felt down 200 hp on power. But my plugs looked awful on the drivers side and brand new on the passenger side. Found out that my ground bolt for my passenger coil pack was about a thread too long into the back of the cylinder head so the coils had enough ground to barely fire at idle and were randomly misfiring during cruise and load. Weirdest thing it it had a 4 cylinder misfire yet never felt like it had a misfire while driving, just felt down on power.

Love all of your videos Joe. I'm happy to see that you had a car that would actually start everytime.

Love the videos! Has helped me alot with my terminator x learning curve. How much timing did the car end up with, if you dont mind me asking? Do you ever mess with the injector phasing much?

I always learn the most from your tuning videos. Most often you need to start with a sound founation from what i see.

Good video, I just put a 6.0 w/ and LSA supercharger in my Hyundai. Was hoping you were going to show your fuel and timing tables in the video so I could see how mine compares. All of the tuning I've done so far w/ the Terminator is based on what I've learned from your videos.

Great Video Joe!! I love these boosted LS videos! I am currently putting together a stroked LS (408) with an Edelbrock E-Force Blower and Terminator x Max in a 69 Camaro, so this is exactly the content I like! Love the no nonsense, logical way you diagnose and solve problems. I believe ZL1 injectors flow 52 Lbs. Same size I have in the Eforce. Based on this car I will need more injector for sure. Any recommendations on size? Are the Holley injectors ok? Or should I step up to Injector Dynamics, that I know you like?

I have this blower on my 99 camaro with an ls1. Running about 11lbs of boost and on 93 i am about 50-60 duty cycle with id850. Just to give you an idea. I am hoping they will be enough when i go to e85.

Great video! I seen where the MAT was like 143 degrees. What temp do you start pulling timing?
@JoeSimpsonAtTempest2 жыл бұрын
Those blowers just light everything on fire with heat so i treat them like the air temp is 1,000 degrees at all times bascially
