Darwin invented the Foam Mate which is a machine that creates a nice thick foam the consistency of shaving cream. This foam can be added to concreate to make aircrete. When mixed in the proper portions aircrete can make and be used for many different things. Aircrete is fire proof, bug resistant, and great insulation. I'm in process of using an old 29 gallon air compressor tank i had laying around!!! Way more space then i will ever need at one time. But i figure hey why not. I built the original Foam mate and I just needed more capacity. Might have went little overboard, LOL. Great video. Thanks

Have you thought of metering pumps for the water and foam additive. Then all you need is some way of getting the cement powder mixed in too in the nozzle.

Just use water pump and forget pressure in the fluid tank, reduce size of line close to aeration tube (wand) to put more pressure on foam mix liquid then the air pressure.

After using your "foam-mate" pretty extensively, I've decided that it is only worth using if one has at least a 2 1/2 gallon reservoir and I wish I saw this before I started the big project that I undertook. I did use a 5 gallon bucket which worked great for a while but then the pressure distorted the shape of the bucket and the lid wouldn't hold the pressure anymore. I considered buying a 3 gallon sprayer similar to the one in this video but at this point I have already spent more than my budget on this project.

I'm trying to use a 15.5 gallon beer keg mounted on a 2 wheeler for mobility. The keg coupler is made for air in and liquid out. That’s what beer kegs are designed to do. Bought an extra coupler to fill the keg with water and foaming agent because you have to remove some of it's innards for it to work properly. Bought a brand new 8 gallon 150 PSI Kobalt air compressor, 4/csfm's@90lbs which shoots major foam for about 30 seconds then just water. Finding the PVC pipes rupture at 90lbs or less or springs major leaks. So far I've had 2 PVC designs and 2 major explosions sending pieces a hundred yards in all directions. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this dang thing that was supposed only to cost around $30, then $50 bucks. You know I would think 15.5 gallons would generate an enormous amount of foam but No. Could the ½ inch PVC pipe be too large? I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but nothing I do works. Suggestions PLEASE!

so... if using the larger tank in this vid, how much foam can be created and how many gals of air-crete will it make? I ask for larger projects like a slab. also will adding just a bit more water to the cement mix will slow down the setting process? starting to really like this rig...

so does aircrete just take way longer to cure than regular mix??? the batch i made was really weak stuff... plain grout mix was way stronger and cured way faster...But the shaving cream i used to make it sure smelled nice..

Ok, so I watched the wall pour and thought it might be the answer for my addition. 2 questions, 1 would it make sense to add conduit in each panel and PVC for wiring and PEX for the plumbing? 2, I. An alternative, just frame the inside as normal and simply use your air create for outside wall like your would block or other precast concrete.

I appreciate this build set up with a separate tank like that with compressor hose. But I wish you had a place with picture lay outs that let me see the new set up with that tank. You don’t have a great place to show the pics of it. The camera doesn’t always just show it so easily for me to see. I know your video is good but it’d be nice to almost do an Instagram account so that you can put them up as you do videos and thy can correlate with the videos you make. I imagine the new rig isn’t on your pdf Etsy PDF. So a place to go that’s linked with the video would be nice. Just even seeing the way you connect more to the tank. See clearer pics of your new tank might help me figure out how to do this with a propane tank since I’m not finding many cheap water pressure tanks. Let me know if you could help with this. I wondered if your Facebook had the pics but I’m not friended by you yet to be able to see the pics incase you out the new soap water pressure tank set up and connection. Thanks! Let me know!!

Why do your videos always lack critical pieces of information to get your inventions to work? Or why you would put a regulator in the middle of the hose instead of just telling people to put one on their compressor. You were concerned enough to acknowledge that people may not have the water tank to use the sprayer tank but not how to use a dish soap that isnt concentrated as it is bought from a wholesale club that not everyone has a membership to.
