Hi - I am new to overnight oats and came up with a recipe that I really love: 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup of black tea, 1/2 cup yogurt. Season with pinch of salt, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and nutmeg powder. Sweeten with 1-2 tsp of brown sugar or honey and dried fruit like cranberries or raisins. Top w/ crushed walnuts the next morning. You get a flavorful, tangy, creamy caffeinated pudding the next morning :)

This sparked a lot of ideas for me! Thank you. If you want a smoother texture to prevent that chewiness, blend/grind the oats down in a blender or coffee grinder (and with the other ingredients in a blender if you want), but not too much. I prepare oatmeal this way and it comes out very smooth.

Brought all the ingredients in this video! Yes it was a bit costly but most of the ingredients I brought in bulk so will last for ageees - so in the long run it's worth it. And if you don't want to use fresh fruits, you can always use frozen which is cheaper. Anyways I made some of these in one go to eat the next few mornings. Just came across this and first tried the strawberry kiwi. I used honey instead of maple syrup and cut the amount to half a tbsp. Next time I will use the full tbsp. I forgot carrots, so instead I used small cubed apples and called it apple pie. My son who has never had oatmeal, LOVED it. Tonight I made carrot cake, banana and apple PB and chocolate. Though two of the three are not in your vlog, I was inspired and basically used the same base of oatmeal and milk (soy). My son can't wait. So thank you for the win and inspiration!!!
