Thanks Calby! I do have a couple of questions: 1. Does booking with a travel agent code as travel on any credit cards? Or could there perhaps be some points lost if choosing this method vs booking directly with the hotel 2. In your past videos, you've used a concierge service such as the World Elite Concierge to book hotels and reap additional benefits that way. What would be the pros/cons of booking with a travel agent vs a credit card concierge service?

Yep exactly right, when booking with a travel agent the transaction will code as the hotel actually. So for example I booked the Four Seasons it did appear on my credit card statement as the Four Seasons hotel and earning me the 4x (rent day bonus) on the Bilt credit card. And good question comparing the World Elite Mastercard, so the World Elite Mastercard actually uses travel agents as well; so it's really similar. The only thing I've noticed is if you work with the Mastercard concierge they are more likely to give gifts from their end. However that could be true with booking directly with travel agents. Like I did get a gift when I stayed at the Four Seasons but I don't think the gift came from the travel agent; I think it was a birthday gift from the Four Seasons. Other than that they are basically the same other than some might have different partnered hotels; so I would definitely use both.

Yep basically, along with gaining access to some hotels with benefits and a middle man in case anything goes wrong.
