Drew, You and Bellhopper do amazing work. Thanks for taking this project on. Yep, this will chew this old Western Tamarack up. Kind of funny, this saw originated in NC for hurricane Hugo then moved to Montana, then I shipped it back to NC and now it will come back to Montana. Thanks again for your time on it and I can't wait to put it back to work.

Chain is doing great work for sure. New to big saws, but to my ear, it sounds like its reving low. Like under 7500rpm. Is that the case, and if so, os that typical if this saw?

It is revving low you are correct, but not 7500 low. It’s more like 10-11k. If my memory serves me correctly I think this one was at like 12-12,500 free rev after porting
